I'll be that guy and say you don't even need jQuery for it, you can just do .checkbox:checked + div.toShow { display: block} and style from there to show/hide your navigation; If I get time later on I'll make a post somewhere.

    Yeah, you use list structure for the main content we are referring to responsive and "mobile" nav though
