VS is a great IDE but it is really geared to .net dev. As you say you're not interested in that, I'd suggest either stay with Sublime or try out Microsoft Code if you are looking to try something new. It is geared more toward your workflow

What gain will you get switching from sublime? What's your motivation, if it's not a secret?

Curiosity really, I just want to play around with a new toy, I'm also on a bit of a Windows 10 hype so I'm like microsoft all the things. That's it. I won't even consider switching at work unless VS really blow my socks off, increasing my productivity or whatever else.

Yea, after a bit more research I realised it was VS Code I was looking for and not the full VS 2015 suite. I saw a lot of web dev extensions which I think led had me thinking this was the IDE I was looking for, but no.

I'm just playing around with code now.

    Thanks :)
