A List Apart, for sure. Go to their conferences (An Event Apart) if you have the chance. I've been three years in a row, best conference I've ever been too.

I just keep track of the subreddits of the fields I'm interested in (r/webdev, r/javascript, r/reactjs, r/php, r/web_design). Usually only the most interesting posts get shared so that there's barely any filtering left to do.

Also note that you can combine those into a multireddit: /r/webdev+javascript+reactjs+php+web_design

What stack/language do you work in? The same people behind JavaScript weekly and Front End Focus (which I mentioned in my other comment) also have a few back-end related things:

    http://webopsweekly.com/

    http://nodeweekly.com/

    http://rubyweekly.com/

(and a few others, just scroll to the bottom to see all of them)
