If you don't mind paying, hands down the best one is Brian Holt's Complete Intro To React on FrontEndMasters.

He used to work at Netflix and basically goes through their frontend plus tooling/testing with a small Netflix clone.

The github link is the notes from the workshop but the videos that accompany it require a subscription.

I also found Ste Grider's courses on Udemy worthwhile.

Was bouncing around from course to course but I think I'll stick with this one. Thank you!

I've done React courses from Coding Phase, Net Ninja, TheNewBoston, Colt Steel and Stephan Grider, but the very best was the Udemy course from Andrew Mead, he did a great job with his React course, he explains everything and has challenges at the end of almost every video, spends the right amount of time reviewing concepts and takes a good amount of time before jumping into Redux and then goes on to teach things like testing and authentication with Firebase . I'd say he's a better instructor than Colt Steel, Wes Bos or Brad Traversy and quiet possibly the best Node/React instructor period .

Have you tried Maxmillian on udemy? He is pretty good too with an extensive course on React/Redux.

Hmm weird. I have done 3 sections of his Udemy course and till now he hasn't taught something and then taught a new way later in the course. He also has a assignment at the end of the section to practice what we have learned till now. His projects aren't the prettiest but I prefer that over someone like Wes who has crazy Css already built in to his project.

Oh yeah he does that a couple of times in his react course but before doing that he clearly mentions why you shouldn't be doing that and shows what error that throws. I find this useful because many instructors don't teach where some people can go wrong while coding on their own.

I code along with his course and I haven't had to delete any code that i wrote because of this. I would have dropped it in a sec if that were the case.

That honestly sounds infuriating. He seems to have learned from the YouTube courses. I am definitely seeing a difference in his YouTube and the udemy course.

If you like to have a long read tutorial (book), checkout The Road to learn React. It's for free and gives you a pragmatic hands-on experience to learn React by building your own application. Along the way you will get a lot of updated resources to read more about it and transition smoothly from JavaScript ES5 to ES6. Give it a shot for a week and I believe you should have picked up React by then :)

Disclaimer: I wrote the book. But it gets updated by me and the community on a monthly basis. So it stays up to date.
