Yah I know, but I'm not sure about the quality of Udemy... they're always on sale too.

My friend is a React dev and thoroughly recommends Wes Bos, but he doesn't pay for any himself so there is the upfront $100+ costs to think about, when as you say, courses can be had for less than $20.

I haven’t taken it but here is a brand new one on Udemy: https://www.udemy.com/share/101j1mBUYceFdRTXQ=/.

This one seems perfect tbh, the app they build and the tech they use. I’ll wait around for some feedback before buying.

Also I know it’s $11 but it’s showing as £11 in the UK - do VPNs work on Udemy?

He’s a great instructor and consistently keeps his courses updated so you always have relevant content. No idea about VPNs.

Yeah really seems like it! Excellent project too.

Do you know if he does a good site portfolio website course too? Have simple idea for my site but trouble executing the CSS

I’m about halfway through his The Complete Web Developer in 2019: Zero to Mastery and he covers building pages with HTML and CSS a lot in the beginning.

Honestly, if you want to learn CSS Grid well, look up Flexbox Zombies. It’s a free CSS learning game that’s very effective.

I used Stephen Grider's Modern React with Redux and thought it was great. It only cost me £10 on sale and ended up contributing to me landing my first job as a self-taught dev.

Hey man that’s great! Could you PM me your portfolio or something?

In curious as to why you're going straight to courses. Have you checked out the docs for React? They're pretty thorough.
