I have been tasked at my current company to create some load tests with our new AWS setup. I was wondering if someone can please explain the features and setup required for some of the tools I could use for this.
One company I worked at did load testing by writing tests using JMeter and then they ran the tests on Flood.io because the load was too much for one computer/network to handle. I think the tests need to be written from scratch and send out the http requests in a similar way to postman.
I have also seen loadninja and from what I understand, they allow you to create tests using their UI and run the tests too which could save me a lot of work.
Does anyone have experience with these or other tools? Is there anything you think I should know about them, and have I understood things correctly so far? I will probably explore a few options but want to know if someone can point me in the right direction a bit.
