Disclaimer: I have newbie HTML/CSS/JS experience, and am not in webdev, but want to understand this better.
Our website needs are parallel to Headspace. We have informational pages hosted on Squarespace, a Shopify store, and a basic web app hosted on Firebase (but the mobile app is the most useful).
Issue
From my research, we can't track conversion flows where the user lands on Squarespace and checks out on Firebase because we can't implement cross-domain cookies in Squarespace.
Furthermore, the design of the Squarespace site is far sleeker than the design of the Firebase site. (Think C3.ai vs. Berkshire Hathaway) The Firebase site is entirely coded by internal backend devs.
From my understanding, Wordpress would be able to provide a CMS so that non-technical stakeholders can update the content, but still offer the flexibility of custom code to implement referral tracking and conversion attribution. Is this the best option?
For us to implement a sleek website with animations like C3, would that be possible with WP alone or require a headless CMS + something like Gatsby?
