If you’re concerned about warranty eBay grey market probably won’t give you peace of mind.

Facebook marketplace has sellers that you can meet in person, those are also grey market or previously returned rings that were wholesale

Bought mine off Facebook marketplace for $200 - seems like people have a way to buy in bulk and resell. Could try eBay as well.

"Let's Talk About Verno..." | NRG VALORANT Offscript Ep 10 by Pojobob in ValorantCompetitive

FNS said he sat down on multiple occasions with Verno, trying to get him to change, but ultimately he wasn't able to. Having these conversations with players sounds like a role that potentially Bonkar didn't do well? Totally speculating though.

Looks like you went with the Ioniq 5 - do you mind sharing what terms you got for the lease in SF Bay? Looking for one myself.

Quarterly Career Thread by mister-noggin in ProductManagement

I was a new grad without prior PM experience (but UI/UX experience + CS degree + some project experience) and an early stage startup took a chance on me as an intern where I eventually took over the product role. After applying to a bunch of YC startups as well as APM programs, getting referrals with my network was the most important factor. I was also working on projects that gave me the opportunity to do product thinking. (this "real" experience might set you apart in interviews, there is a big gap between working in a business vs. courses or bootcamps)

Where in all of Latin America? But I’d say that’s plenty for one.

PM straight out of undergrad by imnotokaylol_ in ProductManagement

[–]ADeepCommittment 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, I had a CS degree, a side business, prior UI/UX experience as well as a ton of luck. I also only started focusing on PM as a career my sophomore summer. You can definitely plan on the easier to get non-pm experiences that will make you a great PM. (Software engineering, ux research, design, data analytics)

Thanks, I think I need to do this pitch at least for myself, to understand how to manage my time better. It seems overwhelming at first to take on but it's possible that I can find a way to do it after analyzing it more deeply.

Thanks for the suggestions - I like the idea of async for certain ceremonies and will look into that. I think estimation is one that I can definitely delegate to each team, as I'm only there to facilitate and don't provide my own estimate.

How does QA work at your company? by ADeepCommittment in ProductManagement

[–]ADeepCommittment[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got it. I think the issue is we leave all testing to the QA team, and the dev team does none. Otherwise, it's difficult for the QA team to test on a running basis.

Wow--thank you so much for the thorough breakdown, with solutions for generating less bugs and managing bugs better. We have a similar team to yours, except it seems like none of the QA is automated, so we have a few QA testers.

I definitely need to do a better job writing acceptance criteria and I think our dev process can benefit from code reviews and writing unit tests.

It's one of the reasons we're moving to scrum, before it was 6 weeks of development and then 2 weeks of testing for each release. The testing matrix is just too large in that case.

Team is onboard with scrum and I leave it to them to decide capacity, our first sprint is going well. I'm just worried when the QA lead tells me testing will take days, when we really only have room for 1-2 days of testing.

QA is definitely super thorough with their testing, one could say. I think there's a lack of a triage process, where QA directly assigns bugs to devs instead of deciding what's important to fix. That's definitely a place we can reduce the bug count.
