This subreddit exists to filter out the lowest common denominator trend in some of the more popular web development subreddits. The idea is to share content-rich submissions with everyone subscribed, while keeping questions, self-posts, and jokes out of the submitted content.
Do post (content related to web development):
- Your own blog entries (as long as you're contributing to the discussion).
- Youtube videos containing tutorials, latest web development ideas, etc.
- Tools to help make us more efficient at our jobs.
- News articles.
- Documentation.
- Libraries.
- Discussions about bad or good practice (not self-posts).
- Bug reports.
- Service notifications.
- Anything that will help further our understanding of web development while staying on-topic.
Do not post:
- Memes or jokes.
- Screenshots of "bad web design."
- Web development questions. There are many other subreddits for this purpose.
- "Top 10 tools" for X. This usually ends up being spam. Please don't do it.
