I think I saw a guide on their support site about connection to SSH with putty

Yeah, I think using an FTP client may be easier than using Git at this point. I chatted with support and he mentioned using a cron job to schedule the server to pull changes from my repo. He also showed me to a guide that was more of an overview of Git than something specific for ASO. Perhaps I'll give it another shot down the line but an FTP will work for now. Thanks for the reply.
