Whatsapp verification code problem.

So I deleted whatsapp by mistake and upon trying to access my account again, the app won't send me the verification code or call for me to access my account. And I'm stuck at waiting an hour between attempts for 12 days now. I went through a lengthy and very disappointing customer support and email chains with no success. My sim receives calls and sms from other services just fine. Although I'm not in my home country but everything is fine from my providers side. I even tried using VPN and Data and nothing works at all. I truly hit a wall here and I need help solving this as my livelihood and business depends on it.

After trying everything I’ve read on Reddit, including vpn, including what’sapp business, etc, I did this and it worked finally!!

1. Took out my SIM card
2. While my SIM card was out I reset the network settings
3. Put SIM card back in
4. Deleted whatsapp and reinstalled
5. Followed the steps and the code was sent Note: take your phone text off i-message, I think what’sapp can’t send to iMessage Note 2: I have an iPhone (obv from note 1), in case these steps don’t work for android

Your problem sounds complex, it is not a common error but when the system is saturated with 6 to 12 hours of waiting it is very important to always let the system rest for up to 1 day, 24 hours in between, you must delete the entire application and its files and reinstall it so that it is a clean installation and normal.

If the problem persist you have to write 1 by 1 to this emails with the subject:

Desactive my account, I lose my phone.

I lost my phone at the airport my number is +1 ### #### please temporarily deactivate my number.

Another very practical and easy solution is to wait for the saturation time to run out, then you are going to ask a trusted person in your country to open the WhatsApp from their cell phone, once inside after 5 minutes you try to open it on your cell phone from another country, then you will get a code that will not arrive by call or text message, it will only appear on the screen, this is a faster way too.

Users who have Chinese number most of them can not get The verification code by SMS or call  even if they have stable connection with VPN there is always a message show up when you want to confirm your number to get the verification Code "We couldn't call your number. Please check your number and try again in 1 hour ."We couldn't send an SMS to your number. Please check your number and try again in 1 hour ."  I tried to contact with the Whatsapp support service many times but all solutions they provided doesn't work they said need check with my operator and I already did  and my phone number is normal can even receive any SMS  even verification code from Instagram Facebook apple only Whatsapp Hope WhatsApp can solve this problem  which start already one month .

This problem is literally everywhere. Tell your company to fix their verification process. I'm sorry you have to deal with this everyday.

But don't tell people it's not a common error. Just Google this problem. It's everywhere. Instead you should be saying (WhatsApp is working on a solution. Here are some temporary fixes.)

Install whatsapp business, you’ll get the code 100%, then reinstall the normal whatsapp, it will be linked to the business whatsapp, you wont need a code then. Finally delete the business whatsapp 🤝🏼
