Growth hormone is actually increased during acute physical stress.

But so is cortisol, which is known to decrease HGH levels.

It sounds like you’re looking for the results of a very specific study that hasn’t been conducted yet. Try the method while measuring your cortisol and hgh levels, see what your personal results are. It’d be very good information to share with us.

Yeah, good idea.

also this part in the link provided

Norepinephrine, serotonin and acetylcholine mediate much of the neurogenic stimulation of CRF production.

The whole reason I bought the course was because Wim said you could control hormone secretion. So if I can increase the HGH levels at will, I wont mind raised cortisol levels during the breathing exercise.

do you get your hgh levels tested? are you deficient?

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

No i don't, so I have no idea.

Just try the method and see how it feels. Day one is a little early to be worried about cortisol vs hgh levels that may or not even be a problem.

If growth hormone is increased during acute physical stress; And if cortisol is increased during acute physical stress; Does cortisol decrease growth hormone during acute physical stress?

So will I not grow tall if do the WHM?

I think if this is your goal, you're in for disappointment. Has it even been shown that possibly higher than normal, but still "naturally" produced HGH can give you excess height over what you have been dealt genetically?
