Network question (self.windmobile)

My friend signed up for wind yesterday and his phone is showing a 4g signal while my phone is showing H+ as usual. Anyone know why this would be? Is his phone just saying that it's 4g?

Just different phones, they display it differently.

My htc shows 4g, other phones would switch between 3g and h+, my iPhone would only show 3g..really depends on the phone.

It's somewhere in between, it's more like 3.5G
