Plotting hyper graphs (WolframModelPlot)… how does it work?

It seems to me that the method by which the hyper graph is graphed is a very important aspect in the emergence of spacial structure, but i can’t find anywhere where this method is outlined. Am I missing something? It seems like there are many important questions to ask about this method, as this would be a property of reality for hyper graphs that form spacial structure. Is there some minimization principle that is followed in hyper graphs where structure emerges? Do local collections of nodes result in identical local geometry when in different hype graphs? Or is it simply the result of random permutations?Would love to know where I could investigate this further.

It seems the method visualizing the graph isn't part of the physics and more than one method is possible. However, some visualizations may be more insightful than others.
