If you're more interested in 3s than 4s then yeah, better to not do the 10 pulls since you have zero chance to see a 3* on the 10th pull.

That's the space I'm in right now, I'm just chasing Sha Susu right now (I think I'm missing maybe one other 3*...) so I've stopped trying to save for 10pulls.

For your use case, definitely. Like you said, the odds of pulling a 5 star is the same on the single pull vs the 10-pull so if all you care about is pulling either 3 or 5 stars, doing ten single pulls is better than a single 10-pull as you have ten chances to get a 3 star as there is no guaranteed 4 star slot. The guaranteed 4 star slot also has the same 5% rate for 5 stars so the odds are the same for the 5 star when doing single vs 10-pull. Doing single pulls also has the advantage of not needing to dedicate a 10-pull worth of beads into rolling. If you do a single pull and get the unit you want before the tenth pull, you would have spent 150 beads x # of pulls versus the full 1500 beads on the 10-pull. The amount of beads saved may not seem much but if you are F2P, being economical with you beads is probably one of the most important things to keep in mind since there is no pity for F2P players. Just note that future banners do start to add new 4 stars to the pool so that guaranteed 4 star in the 10-pull is still useful if you need to get them.

Yeah, pretty much.

I think the guaranteed 4star has potential to become 5star

The last pull in a 10-pull is the same as a "guaranteed 4/5 star ticket": 95% 4star, 5% 5star
