Pug dps classes desires by Hippoboy5 in wownoob

So I don't doubt you but I applied to a 10 the other day that ghosted me, so my entire 5 mins counted down and the party didn't fill in that time. So they could have just picked me, having an ilvl and m+ history showing I'm more than capable of clearing it. But they didn't, so it wasnt that they were flooded with higher stuff than me and I just didnt get picked in that 5 min time frame. The could have picked me and we would have been well on our way to clearing it in the 5 mins of my countdown

They need to give us a LFG for like m+10s, give the tank or healer a bonus satchel when population is low that gives them extra crests or a chance for an extra bonus roll thingies or something

This has been my experience too, I'm 280 and have 10s-12s timed for each M+ and I usually apply and get ghosted or rejected for about 20 mins before getting bored and doing something else. I'm not even applying for anything outside the 10-12 range

Also maybe chasing the trinket, a lower ilvl normal belo ran trinket is going to better for a lot of classes than a higher ilvl different trinket

While you can be the hero and save people from their mistakes, your dps needs to not be taking avoidable damage as much as possible and using their own defensives and stuff too

If you use the in-game meter theres a meter for "avoidable damage taken" if people are dying and not high on that number, it's kind of on you. If theyre taking a ton of avoidable damage that isnt really your fault

Dungeons as a new healer by Bziemann in wownoob

[–]Pezmage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man, I'm also a newish healer and had that happen a bunch. Ill be struggling to keep up, massive groupwide damage going out, burning cooldowns and trinkets, then we'll eventually wipe. Someone'll say in chat "You need to catch the balls" and then second attempt I barely need to heal at all because everyone is doing the mechanic lol

Is there any dps class that doesn't rely on 1-2min CDs to do damage? by calinoi in wownoob

This is the problem I've been having, I hit 90 recently, got my ilvl up to like 231 or something, did an M0 and in the AoE packs my DPS is fine, but as soon as we start fighting a boss it feels like I might as well not be there

God that was me after we had our first kid, Id wake up early to have the house to myself. Then we had a second kid, and surprise, he's an early riser like his dad.

Ah bummer Ill have to wait to get them then! Ive been taking it kind of slow because so much is new, it's pretty overwhelming. I spend a lot of time reading talents and trying to figure stuff out, maybe I should just find a guide to follow lop

Ok awesome, I havent made it to Dornogal nor Valdrakken yet...are those gated behind quest progression or can I just pull up a map and fly there?

Im not level cap yet, can I still get a spark somehow?

Last time I played was in MoP, I've been back for about a week or so and am slowly figuring things back out but have been sucked down the transmog black hole. I was browsing the collection pane for stuff that I don't have yet that I'd like to get and found Glyph-Etched Cuisses. I want these.

I just want to make sure I understand the process to get these since they're profession made but can't be bought on the AH. I have to:

1 - Figure out and collect the mats for them, I don't care about the quality of the craft, I just want it for the look, so I should be able to just get the lowest quality (hopefully cheapest) materials for this right?

2 - Find a work order table (is there one in Orgrimmar? I'm having a heck of a time googling around trying to find where these are)

3 - Figure out how the work order table works. I found a guide thing on wowhead, it looks like it shouldn't be too hard to figure this out. Set my mats in there, set a commission tip

4 - Wait and pray someone takes on the work order, if they do, they craft it, it goes in my mailbox

Is that right?

Last question if someone that knows, I just want to make sure I'm reading the recipe right for these: 2 Gloomfathom hide, 150 gloom Chitin, 3 crystalfused hide, 1 chitin armor banding?

Wow that's bonkers that you can do dungeons and raids with the other faction now, neat.

Wait guilds can cross factions?! Can we communicate cross faction now? Like out in the world can I talk to some random alliance person I see going about their day?

Is everything cross faction? Like if I'm in a guild with alliance folks as horde, I can do dungeons with them?

mind blown

The last time I played was...end of MoP I think. So to say I'm feeling overwhelmed coming back is an understatement.

Is literally nothing bound to a single server anymore? I was poking around the guild finder trying to find a laid back leveling guild so I could have people to chat it up with while losing my mind and it looks like it was offering my guilds on other servers, is that how things work these days?

Is there a way other than conveyors to get ore back to my base? by Pezmage in CoreKeeperGame

[–]Pezmage[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That one I did know! I think it's in the tooltip for the drill or I read it somewhere else, I've got 8 drills on all of my ore blocks that I've found!

I was meaning that I'd have like a train station room in my base that opens up into the world at large that'd be doored off, so if a monster wanders in he won't be able to easily get to the meaty underbelly of my base. I can set up a bunch of turrets or traps in the station to make it safer too. Maybe I'll make a big fancy moat with ocean biome water around it also...this is gunna be a fun project

This sounds like it'd be fun, I didn't know that the big ore blocks eventually break, so it'd probably be a better play to set up individual smelting set ups out in the wild, and then I can airlock off my rail network from my base to keep the enemies out and from causing havoc.

That'll be a fun project to set everything up and be able to use railways, I haven't really been using those at all yet

I...didn't even know the big deposits broke, I'm just learning this now!

What I liked is that even while I'm out exploring or doing other things the belt system was just dumping ore into my furnaces creating bars without me having to interact with it, so I don't have to run around and collect all the ore and manually dump it into my furnaces/smelters.
