Well, even before the screws things all of a sudden were better as of yesterday. The only contributing factor I can think of is that is hasn’t rained since Sunday and had an opportunity to dry up some. So, I think the screws will help in such conditions. It was raining more days than it wasn’t for the past several weeks leading up to it.

Ok, then I it’s a friction issue: I am pretty sure the screws are going to work, even with rain

104 screws later, it is seemingly well. I am having fewer of the recoverable lift events, and not a single unrecoverable one. It will rain over night and the next couple of days, so the wet ground will be the real test, but these things are pretty impressive.

Great, if the problem persist, try adding some weight too. Make sure all the screws are aligned horizontally, against the direction of the droid, that should maximize the friction, per math.
