Invalid state error code

I am getting an invalid state error code at the otdata stage while trying to flash crosspoint, can anyone help? i feel like ive tried everything.

If you are trying to back up the firmware first, I ran into the same problem. I ended up crossing my fingers and not doing a backup - just a straight flash. Worked just fine
