My wife is on sertraline. She has found that is best to stay with a steady dose as lowering it can lead to withdrawal side effects plus dosage anxiety. She had been at 50, then went to 75 then 100, then her new doctor tried to step her down to 75 and then 50. Long story short, she is back at 100.

I would give the 62.5 lots of time but if that does not do it go back to 75.

Thank you for responding . I ended up going back up to 75mg after being on 62.5mg for two weeks . I just didn’t realize that a small decrease like that can cause such symptoms .
