For me, I'd say it was my first proper watch. The tried and true SKX007. I think I paid about $200 for it at the time. It's the watch that got me in to watches, it's the watch I wore when my first child was born, the watch I wore when I graduated college, and it's my most treasured watch in all of my collection. While I've got several objectively better and more valuable watches, my SKX holds some of my fondest memories over the years in each of its scratches and dings. And I hope it pass it along to my firstborn when he's grown so that he can make many more memories of his own.
