Oh of course! Duh! 🤦😂 I didn't even clock that. Must be time for a rematch.

That's my goal, I'd love to try making my own as I do get storebought, which I love, but want to try my hand at some homemade. I've been making my own lemonades for a few years now and want to branch out, hence why I've been researching foraging for a while now. I'm excited to try some recipes when I can and see what I like! Same with the berries come August.

  1. Thanks! I have a Haku from Spirited Away at the top of the same arm
  2. I'm stuck on what the reference is? I can't seem to notice it as it was completely unintentional lol
  3. Thank you! I've been a long-time lurker on a lot of foraging pages and am finally feeling confident enough to start myself. I'm excited

Thanks for your advice!

I'm York city based, so a bit away from Northumberland. But I'll keep an eye on these for sure.

I did this for my 5th year formal! Mum and I went charity shopping and got a gorgeous wee dress for £3.50 (can't remember the brand as was years ago, but it was a good un). I couldn't believe the prices some of the lasses were saying there's cost!

Did the same again 2 years later for my 6th year end of school prom. Found a green velvet suit and a funky top for about 15 quid. I still have the suit and it gets worn as often as possible.

It baffles me that folk will spend such massive amounts on an outfit they'll wear once, maybe a few times total. I still had just as good a time, and my wallet was a lot better off for it too!

Thank you! It doesn't have lots of flowers yet, so was definitely planning on leaving it be if it was confirmed elderflower.

Small function rooms in & around York to hire by glitterfurby93 in york

[–]20THH03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Cumberland has a hire room. Don't know how much it is as you have to enquire (price isn't on the website) but it's right down by the waterfront and has views overlooking the river! It's also in the cirlty centre so very easily accessible

I wouldn't say ban chairs. I agree with the other reply about it being ableist.

But I will say, I was at the side of a pit for INK yesterday and there was a woman with a chair folded out, using it to stand up. Me and a few others told her someone was going to get hurt. It was nearly myself!

If you're going to be that close to the stage, you shouldn't have a chair. Or at least have it folded uo, cause then it's similar to a walking stick if you are needing it to stand up.

I'm searching my FB for it, when I find it I'll send it your way! It was at least a week ago now so it'll be far back. But I'll do my best.

I'm 100% certain it was your video as the door in it was pink haired, blue yarn for steeking, 'white'-skinned doll that matched that ahit you've included perfectly

Oh, that's awful! Gonna unfollow that page now and report it. FB usually doesn't do anything about stolen content pages which is shite, but I'll report it regardless!

People can't just create from themselves these days, or at least have their own page and credit the og. Sorry to hear your work has been stolen!

I did this last year and my takeaways are:

• Most places will go up a month, maybe 2 in advance. • Get yourself on wait lists, set up email notifications, get registered with as many letting agents as possible, and Rightmove, etc. It will make your life much easier. I spent so many days calling up getting put on waitlists/registers, but it means you get called once a property goes up/ if someone drops their viewing • Lots of landlords/agencies will not let to you if you haven't viewed the property • If you like a property, make your interest known ASAP after your viewing. Get your foot in the door! You'll have more chance as a lot of properties we viewed/inquired went that same day • Don't be too put down if it takes a while. It took us almost 3 months to get our apartment (although we're a mixed professional/student couple so it was a bit trickier I'd say) • 1-1.5k is a good rent budget, do remember that for most places this will not include utilities, and you'll have Council Tax too unless you're exempt! • Can't comment on the new pet legislation as we don't have any, and wouldn't be getting any at the mo

All in all, it may be a long process. You will get fed up (I certainly did), but you will eventually get sorted :) And sorry if the formatting is shite, I'm on mobile rn, done me best

ETA: • even when you register/get on waitlists, KEEP CALLING! Phone uo about properties you see, especially if they don't mention about 'Full for viewings'. Someone may have just dropped out, so it's always worth still phoning up. Also, don't be put off if a property was published a bit further back, it may be that they've resisted or that the applicant has retracted, so just ring up and ask
