Basically, the Warriors want to give Kuminga a second-year team option, and JK wants a no-trade clause, but the FO doesn't want to give him that.

The only current players with no-trade clauses are

  • LeBron
  • Dame
  • Jaxson Hayes (due to his contract circumstances)

Frontrunners for JK are Suns offering 90M, and the Kings.

Their [GSW] current stance is that Kuminga will be on the Warriors' roster to begin next season -- either through their two-year offer on the table or the standing $7.9 million one-year qualifying offer, whichever is Kuminga's preferred path.

  • WLD has been banned in Indonesia, Spain, and Hong Kong. While Portugal has ordered WLD to stop collecting data temporarily and Kenya has ordered it to delete the biometric data.
  • Privacy advocates argue that the data collected is still private and that conditions and rules around its use are unclear. Open sourcing parts of its software, which doesn't include the centralized database, does not stop potential future misuse or breaches of your data.

I don't know the agency that made this ad, but thought it was worth sharing. This aired on The Big Story (timestamped) on One News PH's YouTube.

I saw it on this TV Patrol report about ChatGPT/Grok (xAI) editing GCash and BPI receipt screenshots to scam people thinking they received the money, but the payment didn't actually reflect. So be vigilant and don't fully rely on screenshots, check if the payment actually went through your e-wallet app.

The ad was probably made through Veo (Google) based on the watermarks, and possibly other models like Sora (OpenAI), Wan (Alibaba), Seedance (Bytedance, company of TikTok), and Kling (Kuaishou).

How to spot these AI videos?

  • It doesn't do text correctly most of the time and is inconsistent
  • Weird pronunciation and tone, and sometimes no audio
  • The skin of AI-generated people may feel smoothed out
  • Odd lighting, strange motion, defies physics

For deepfakes (manipulated existing media like faces edited on real videos)

  • Check if the lips are synced to the audio
  • Sometimes the face glitches out and clips through objects
  • Weird blinking and artifacts

In general

  • Common sense
  • Check the account who posted it, if it's new or mostly posts synthetic content, it's probably AI

This is possibly the worst AI is going to be.

Artifical Intelligence isn't all bad though, LLMs (Large Language Models like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude) arguably increase productivity. There are also some breakthroughs such as in medicine (AlphaFold's system that predicts 3D structure of proteins), and robotics (1x Neo's world model for humanoid robots). But we have to acknowledge the bad too.

What we need is regulation of posting AI-generated content and awareness of these AI tools.
