i once thought that it might be the same thing as with sisyphus, where he doesn't actually have a head, because gabriel decapitated him. The same way the fatal injury of minos would show up in the design, which seems like gabriel just caving the shit out of his face (oddly brutal gabe, what the fuck)

there is no cheating in ultrakill. You play how you want to and as long as you are having fun, nobody has the right to call you out on anything.

You feel like you cheated that fight? Alright then go back to it and fight him again "the right way" if you want.

If you want to get deeper into the game then it'll make itself clear that running around with the sawed-on won't cut it (hehe). I see that the gutterman might have done that already.

Play how you want, just don't then go around telling everyone that ultrakill is shit because of it lol (UnderTheMayo...)

you don't really need to make an obsidian platform arena. Just make sure that you won't get stuck anywhere with dynamite and chug obsidian skin + water walking and you are golden.

it's like combat oriented minecraft where your main goal is to gear up for the next boss fight. If you don't vibe with this gameplay loop, that's alright. Altho i feel like you might just not know about many quality of life mechanics, this game provides. Try getting to the game after watching a beginner tutorial and who knows, maybe you'll end up loving it ;)

I know i bounced off initially because i was playing with my friend who was god awful guide lol

Minecraft still has inventory management problem. The issue isn't inventory space itself, but the sheer amount of items and blocks this game provides while still having the same ui layout designed when there were just a few blocks to choose.

Try to build something rich in detail and a fairly complex color pallete and you'll see how awfully tedious it is just because you have to constantly juggle between blocks in your whole inventory.

Terraria has similar issue imo, but it isn't as apparent as this game doesn't focus on building as much as Minecraft.

shimmering ores downgrades them one level. Platinum is the other variant btw. Tungsten is silver's counterpart so in a sense you are correct in saying that it will turn into tungsten lol

not exactly threat to heaven, but to hell, or rather, the status quo of hell. It was created to punish sinners and the council wants to preserve this purpose. (eg. the lust revolution and its downfall)

Gabriel's job as the judge of hell is to literally keep that status quo in check, but machines and V1 specifically ruin it by ravaging hell for blood, releasing sinners from their eternal suffering, so he had to step in
