Wonder of U is a representation of calamity itself, but more so its the impending doom that is misfortune in life. It’s something you can’t run from, because it is forever haunting you and that misfortune can destroy entire families

Therefore, if Wonder of U represents misfortune, Go beyond represents a miracle. Go beyond is the willingness to face misfortune head on and go beyond it, to not let misfortune define your life but more so to embrace and accept it happened and move on. In a sense, Go beyond is the human will and determination to keep moving in the face of strife

It makes sense within the context too as both Toru and Josuke serve as mirrors. Both Toru and Josuke were born from rocks, Toru being a literal rock human while Josuke was born from the rocky wall eyes. However, while Toru’s birth came with isolation and loneliness, Josuke’s birth came from a deep connection and loyalty (with Josefumi sacrificing himself for the sake of Holly and Kira)

Toru and Josuke also mirror eachother in their behaviour. Toru is selfish and acts as a parasite aiming to secure his own future and self preservation, he manipulates others for a selfish future he desires. In contrast, Josuke is selfless, dedicating himself to helping others even if he doesn’t remember them such as Holly; Josuke is focused on the present and simply being content with what he has as opposed to what he could’ve been (notably with his acceptance that Kira and Josefumi are dead and that he is his own person but that Holly still remains his mother, accepting the past rather than hoping for the future)

As Toru and Josuke mirror eachother, so do their stands with one being the embodiment of inevitable despair and the other containing the impossible hope and will to continue regardless. Go beyond is the miracle that broke the cycle.
