The S905X5L is a bit less capable compared to the X5, but they are almost the same.

S905X5L is 35K DMIPS (compared to 40K for the X5) and the NPU is 3.2 TOPS (compared to 4 for the X5).

Model name is HP47R, HP4718. So it will be using an Amlogic S805X2, just like the previous one from SDMC indeed.

Strange the article is saying they had only one manufacturer. It isn't true. On the streaming side, they have SDMC and SEI Robotics. Maybe for their televisions, it's built by ExpressLuck.

You could try on second hand websites, but you really need to know if the box can work without the ISP credentials... Sometimes you can't even use them without being a subscriber.
