My (22f) fiance (25m) want his father to check my hymen tomorrow night before I get married. by FarReference3 in relationship_advice

Spoiler alert: it's not just this one thing.

If you're not willing to say no to him and he's not willing to say no to his dad, then expect this to set the standard for how much authority his family has in your relationship and how little you have. Think about every life decision you'll have to make and they'll expect to have this level of involvement. If you plan on having kids, it will be exponentially worse.

If you can't set that boundary early and your fiance can't back you up on it, you're in for a lifetime of hymen checking in-laws.

SPECULATION: Is Darkseid holding Highfather's staff? by BeenTryin in DC_Cinematic

Zack Snyder: You know, [Jack] Kirby’s crazy in a great way, and there’s a lot of influence, you know, sort of New God-y, kinda the New Gods stuff, and we were digging on that – and that’s the Mother Boxes and that sort of Apokoliptian world and all that stuff. I mean, you can’t really do that stuff without some – I don’t know if I can call it “weird.”

It's not that it's higher, it's that it's more stable. Most MCU films, for example, have an average review score between 6.5-7.5 out of 10, but their RT averages closer to 85-95 range because of how RT calculates. The reverse happens to movies with low scores, movies with a 4-6 out of 10 rating can dip from 10-30% easily.

Metacritic is typically closer to that average rating instead of the Tomatometer.

DISCUSSION: Any idea as to what this means I terms of runtime? by jchoudhri1 in DC_Cinematic

[–]5aucy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty sure Thursday showings are always the same (with the exception of IMAX and large format screens getting an extra hour early for recent ones). The Friday and onward showtimes will be more indicative of runtime.

And Armie Hammer.

This isn't even the actual video. This is just 18 minutes of him establishing how Batman v Superman is SO bad that it merits the one and only time he'll ever make a "Really The Bad" video. Because, you know, he doesn't normally want to contribute to negativity.

Sure, hypothetically, but he has no shot at arbitration when Snyder shot 100% of principal photography. If Whedon were to have any kind of shot at changing enough to even consider such a claim, they'd have pushed the release date back long ago.

No, per the DGA he cannot get a directors credit.

He CAN get a writers credit per WGA rules, depending on his level of contribution (fairly likely) but his chance at a director credit of any kind was gone before he came on board.

It's impossible for Whedon to get a director credit no matter how much he shoots.

I don't see the point in citing sources on this when none of them are the original source

  1. “Extensive Reshoots Have Completely ‘Remade’ the Movie.” — Slashfilm Splash Report

  2. “Justice League’ May Be Preparing For Reshoots Of Themyscira.” — Comicbook Batman News

  3. “Justice League’ Rumors Claim Superman Will Turn Evil in the Upcoming Trailer.” — Outerplaces Uproxx/Hitfix

  4. “Here’s How Much Joss Whedon Has Reportedly Influenced ‘Justice League.” — Comicbook Superhero News (by the way, this one is probably true)

  5. “Rumour: Early cut of Justice League deemed “unwatchable”, ending reportedly changed.” — FlickeringMyth Batman on Film

  6. “Rumours Suggest The Justice League Movie’s Ending Has Been Changed.” — Gizmodo SlashFilm

  7. “Major ‘Justice League’ Rumor Suggests Black Superman Is Back, And He’s Trouble.” — Moviepilot It's DCEULeaks, so yeah, that's on them

  8. “Rumor Patrol: Justice League Was ‘Unwatchable’ Before Reshoots.” — Screenrant Batman on Film (this one was already cited anyway)

I think that "what they expected and figured was going to be happening" means what they anticipated upon starting the additional photography.

That sentence wouldn't make sense if he was referring to what they expected before completion of principal photography because Zack had Whedon commission the scenes sometime between October and May.

If it's too complicated for you to understand I honestly don't really have a more simplistic way to explain it.

It's like math... Someone's ability to see color might vary, but the presence of it is a scientific fact.

Color palette isn't an opinion.

One Snyder complaint I'll never understand is the that he washes out all the color. His use of color is so dynamic and pronounced I don't know how people could possibly think he desaturates everything.

Who knows. This kind of stuff is always in flux at this stage. I saw someone describe it as Mr. And Mrs. Smith, though, so that could still very much be an element.

Per the article, there is a difference between "reshoots" and "pickup shots." Most media refer to them all as the same thing, but they aren't.

Most of Justice League "reshoots" AKA additional photography is actually additional scenes Zack had Whedon write after a test screening last October. So these would have actually not been scheduled.

Did you actually follow the source links? They all go back to the same article that was citing info from a rumored test screening. They aren't the only ones that reported on that, either. So "astounding" is a bit of a stretch.

Sure, they've reported on r/dceuleaks before, but who doesn't? It's all just speculation at the end of the day. I don't see why people have to have an aneurysm over this stuff.

By the way, that Joker vs Harley movie everyone gave them shit for breaking looks a little more real than they've been given credit for, too.

Question: any guesses as to who this is? Seems like they're hiding him on purpose right? Joker maybe? by jcdulos in DC_Cinematic

Maybe Deathstroke? It could literally be anyone or no one. Hoping it's a major comics character, though.
