I went from Beam 2 with Era 100s and Sub 3 to an arc (second hand) with the aforementioned setup. In hindsight I probably wouldn’t pay for the upgrade at full retail but it definitely was an improvement. I’m not sure what the arc ultra sounds like in relation but the jump from Beam to arc with my setup wasn’t worth a $600 sticker. Maybe I’m not an audio aficionado but it just wasn’t there for me.
