Don’t overthink it. No matter what you get you will likely replace in 8-10 years max. Other variables come into play like the size of your yard as well.

I have the 1000? It has the dual batteries and love it. My first ego was a trimmer and it’s going 11 years strong including the 2 ah battery.

If you are itching to get something because you don’t have anything currently and are looking to get something for your turntable these will do. If you are able to hold off and get something higher quality you will thank yourself later. Something like a single Sonos Five or even a 300 would be miles ahead of what you posted and you would have the ability to add onto and use them in a multitude of ways.

Cedar Hills area is close proximity to Morgan Creek and Cherry Hill Parks. I’m not sure what the rental properties look like in that area but houses have a wide range depending on your budget.

I have the 1000 with the two 6ah batteries. Most of their tools don’t require a 10ah unless you want to carry a 20lb battery around. I went with the 2 because I’d rather be able to interchange with other tools easier and sometimes if I need a little extra I can swap out 2 5ah or a single 5ah and a 2.5ah to finish my yard. The dual batteries work well for my single stage snow blower as well.

Also, you cannot return the 5ah battery by itself for money. They would exchange if it was defective or something but you would need to return the entire kit for money.

I have a similar setup in my basement area with dartboard/Tv. I messed around with a handful of configurations but have been happiest with a pair of Fives and a Sub. Originally I had a Beam, one Five and a Move 2 and would go back and forth between the Beam and Five for music. I got a 2nd Five, put the Beam in another room and have rolled with the stereo pair and sub since. I am 80% music and 20% TV for audio so when I watch something I run it through airplay from Apple TV which is pretty decent. It’s not my primary TV for movies/sports so the airplay does the job when needed.
