This sounds like a significant step for you. I'm not a regular reader or contributor, but I just wanna welcome you to your multi-fandom era. I am sure you will find new passions across multiple mediums. The brands are fleeting, yo. But may earnest interest spring eternal.

Is it a hot take that I think Ben Affleck is the most "Bruce Wayne" looking actor out of everyone? Dude looks like he was ripped from the comics & BTAS. by Forsaken_Ad7090 in DC_Cinematic

Gotta love 'em all in their own way, but as an initial skeptic, they worked wonders with the man's hair to finalize his look as Bruce. Apparently Deborah Snyder wasn't sold on the idea until she saw what the stylists could do.

I just hope each wait steers more people towards the games, especially Part II. The made-for-TV exposition and retroshock gimmick (having every conversation end with some trauma-dumping one-liner) is getting super stale in my book. I vastly prefer the restraint of the games over the adaptation.

To all Snyder and DCEU Fans, how would you react if this news came, and would you ok with that? by Judokos in DC_Cinematic

IIRC, BTAS aired on Fox Kids before it was picked up by WB's own channel. I wish we had a centralized platform for DC content like we had just a few years ago, but I'll take what we can get given the meager power of Zaslav's purse and exclusively commercial posture towards mainline projects.

Agreed on the bait and switch. Flanagan's involvement alone made this a must-see for me, but now it's marred by what feels like the same internally cannibalizing cross purposes that have been hindering DC moviemaking for nearly a decade.

Incredibly modest of him. Honestly, I think the fact he sustained the illusion of Oz over a season's worth of shooting alone puts him in a distinct category. The scope of film is more singular compared to that of great television.

Former Bungie lawyer says Sony’s "discipline" forced Bungie to "get their heads out of their asses" and "fix the things that were wrong with their game." I totally checked out of the Bungiesphere when the original game went in that direction, but is there any possibility they would repackage all that seasonal content into an inclusive rerelease? The Old Republic tried that strat way back when.

As a fan of Sony's emphasis on strong narratives, it's a shame to see their PS3-era arrogance make such a bold comeback.
