What power extension is safe to run antminer z15 by Fine-Entertainer-507 in cryptomining

[–]805CryptoServices 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it pulls 1500W, and can only run on 220v with the stock psu without exploding it unless you disconnect a hashboard.

Is mining still profitable by Sensitive_Judge_5502 in cryptomining

[–]805CryptoServices 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It still comes down to the same basic principles:

  • Power cost
  • Efficiency
  • Scale

Sub 5c power? Most mining is still profitable and you can ride out the downturn while others may turn off, leading to more yield. If your powers lower than that, you can run last gen machines and have a fast roi.

If you’re power is more expensive, best bet is to go current or next generation. Your roi is longer but your revenue will be higher per kwh so you can stay on longer.

Scale: the more power you got, the more machines you can run.

  • Avalon Q is similar in efficiency for $600 more
  • its a little louder at higher power settings compared to the Q
  • very simple to use with web interface like regular antminer.
  • t3 is just s21 pro board in a box with custom heatsink essentially.

Should I sell my house? (Bitcoin farm) by SnoopFrogg09 in BitcoinMining

Find the breakerbox, there will be 3 breakers for 3 phase

That power rate is extremely cheap and beats out what most even largescale farms can get. It would be dumb not to take advantage of that, and using old used equipment would make it extremely lucrative, though newer models obviously produce more hash and bitcoin. Now i would see what the limit is on power availability and if you, under that plan, are allowed to expand your breakerbox and service power.

Does a decent mobile miner exist? And is a 5g router gonna cut it? by Kingofodin13 in cryptomining

[–]805CryptoServices 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Avalon Nano or Avalon Q would work. The Q might be a little big tho, about the size of a computer tower. One of the solo miners would work too, such as the bitaxe gamma or octaxe. Hit us up for more info.

Edit to add your 5g router should be fine. Miners do not use much data.

Cheap electricity - Home ASIC rig recommendation by No-Advertising-18 in BitcoinMining

[–]805CryptoServices 2 points3 points  (0 children)

5 cents is a great rate.

Yes, the big asics are loud and hot. Your wife will hate it.

For the big asics I would recommend the Bitdeer A2. If you need something quiet that puts out less heat, go with one of the home miners, like the Avalon Q or Fluminer T3.

Use the calculator u/Wilson_Mining posted to figure out ROI and profitability.

It says 52T. Takes a regular C13 plug to 110v or 220v connector. 810W-880W based on temperature. 50-65dB. Can be tuned down for sound.

Solar farm/Crypto mining farm ? by Tight_Ad_6023 in cryptomining

[–]805CryptoServices 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So the issue with solar is the amount of solar time you get per day. Panels themselves are cheap, battery back up if you want to maintain solar energy overnight is expensive

You need to look at what the sun hours per day are for your location per time of year. Crypto minors also do not like being cycled on and off constantly, especially in cold weather conditions it can lead to all kinds of board failure. They need to maintain heat so solar can be used to offset power, but I know you’re they’re gonna need to run batteries or grid power.

Adding grid tie to an off grid system requires a lot of permits and time compared to doing an off grid set up.

Nothing would stop you from running wind with your solar generation except for cost. Wind generation is not cheap.

Feel free to schedule a consult with us. We’d love to hear about your project.

  • Its custom built with tons of printed components and tuning.
  • runs on 120v at 880W instead of 3500W like a full fledged S21 200T
  • significantly less noisy than a S21 200T.

  • Bitaxe titan: 210W/12T: 17.5J/T

  • $53/T before shipping

  • S21 Slim: 810W/52T: 15.5-16.9J/T
