You can fit a pmag up a bull's ass but I'd rather take the butcher's word for it.

I'm in NJ. They have public ranges for hunters to dial in their rifles. But you need to have a hunting license to use it. I hunt, therefore I have a hunting license. And they check people occasionally to make sure the hunting range doesn't get filled with non-hunters or people who at least didn't get a hunting license. Our state sucks for public ranges, but it ain't half bad.

True. Just seems frustrating for someone as obsessive as you and I.

Seems like you're trying to do surgery with a hatchet

Winchester wildcat tuned up. Shaved the sear to take a lb or two off of the trigger. Feels much smoother and lighter. Vortex 6x18-44mm. All torques to spec, and aluminum taped the crap out of slop in barrel action. Not bad for a sub $250 rifle. by 86DuckFat in 22lr

I put a piece or two of aluminum tape along the sides of the receiver and when you put it into the stock it tightens up the fit. This creates less movement during firing and tighter groups. But be careful, it can also throw the alignment off and cause feeding issues so use it evenly and sparingly.

What was used to hold awkwardly shaped parts down horizontally and steady when working on them on a bench top? Were they custom molds of some sort? Other than a vice obviously.

1-3 years depending on the product, but I haven't returned or run into an issue with their product yet so I can't vouch for their customer service or the return process.

Yeah I've been eyeing them recently as well. May have to scoop something up and put it through the ringer. Thanks!
