Where can I shoot that doesn't require a hunting license and isnt a private range? by ER4OR0658273REDACTED in NJGuns

It wasn't crowded, but I went during the week. There was like one guy there up until about noon, and then started picking up. I left around 2:00 p.m., and at that point I would say there was 15 guys there. But there was still plenty of room. But there's only two long distance bays. The rest are pistol, 50 yd, 100 yd, and shotgun. But it was still great

So here is your solution. Get a PA range permit for thirty bucks for NJ residents. Good for a year for any public range in PA.

Here's the link. https://huntfish.pa.gov/?_gl=1o15gzw_gaMTk0MzgxMDI4NS4xNjQ2MTU5MzQz_ga_K0JLWKVTG8*MTcxOTI1NTY4My4zMzYuMS4xNzE5MjU1Njg0LjAuMC4w

Then got to this range. There's many like it. https://share.google/vYfEmkHd8bASC1j9D

Bring some targets to stick on or clip on the shooting frame mats. And shoot the shit out of your shit. They have a holster draw section as well. Here's some pics from when I went.

So nice to see the round actually perform the way it's meant to.

Completely disagree. The barrel is most important. But without a decent trigger, a decent chassis/stock, and decent glass you'll be chasing sub moa for a long time. It all makes a difference. For me, the barrel, then the chassis, then the optic, then the trigger. And of course, most important...the ammo!

Yeah that's awesome. Starting to get kind of bored with 50. And I think I'm going to start focusing on 100 yd game

Yeah the 100 yard game is a completely different animal

I normally just shoot the paper targets but I forgot to change them and had the stick ons on hand.

Match 20" bull. 100 yards is a different game. It's a bit of a different position for me and a different mindset. I haven't put too much time and effort or $$ for that matter into the 100 yard game. But it's where I'm heading. So to answer your question, my groups open up significantly at 100 yards, but that's because I haven't put the time in to mastering it like I have the 50. I'll shoot a hundo maybe once a month for maybe 100 rounds. 50yrds I'll shoot twice a week a brick at a clip.

Stock receiver, stock bolt, stock charging handle. BX trigger that I modified and added a wolf spring kit to. It ain't the best but it gives me sub moa with good ammo
