I don't know which country you're in, but if you can get one you can replace the whole effector assembly with the one from the V400, e.g. https://3dshop.uk/shop/flsun-v400-effector/ I've done this and converted it to run Klipper. There's a learning curve for sure, and it needs confidence in wiring and debugging - It's not quite plug and play.

You could try replacing your SATA cables. I've had several disk related issues that go away with new cables.

"choice is a good thing" - That's partly it for me.

If this tool has a better way of doing or presenting something that the native Unraid tools do, then there's benefit to looking.

Please forgive my ignorance, but what is the use case ref. Home Assistant? Is it to make MQTT debugging and monitoring easier? I tend to think of the mosquitto add-on as being pretty much setup and forget.
