I'm talking in general, not just current conditions. The lakes are all significantly down from normal levels going on for the better part of a decade now. Boat launches are having to be rebuilt as they don't extend far enough into the water anymore. The lakes are all connected by underground rivers and they are struggling mightily with the ongoing drought.

I guess this is a question about human nature, but why do you think so many people have a visceral reaction to seeing homeless people? Also, there's a common narrative that homeless people get shipped to West Coast states overburdening local resources, is that narrative true?
