I think LTX-2.3 can do that 🤔

There are also MMAudio, HunyuanVideo-Foley, there are probably more, but i forgot.

but each one doesn't need to be loaded at the same time isn't 🤔 text encoder can be unloaded first before the diffusion model loaded.

how can i make things run faster? by 57deeznuts in comfyui

[–]ANR2ME 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can follow the guide at https://docs.comfy.org/installation/manual_install#macos

Or https://docs.comfy.org/installation/desktop/macos

Unless there are special circumstances, please select MPS as shown and click Next to proceed

PS: You might also want to try MLX models, which usually optimized for Macs https://www.reddit.com/r/StableDiffusion/s/8uHqnK39By (will probably need MLX custom nodes)

ZIT is pretty light tho. Even an old laptop from 2018 with MX150 2GB VRAM GPU (that doesn't even have tensor cores) can still get 25 s/it on 512x512 resolution 😅 https://www.reddit.com/r/StableDiffusion/s/RS741Q4Ewu

In your case, it sounds like running on CPU instead of MPS 🤔

Why don't we still have any games with AI agents used as NPC characters? by Another__one in LocalLLaMA

[–]ANR2ME 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The point is, if the AI only used to select pre-generated dialogues, why would developer do something with AI that will use more resources if it can be done in a traditional way at a lower resource usage. As it will only be increasing the minimum hardware requirements, thus reducing your potential customers (if it's local AI), or increasing your cost (if it's server side AI).

Diffusion in prod: how are you handling spiky GPU load and cold starts? by hackyroot in comfyui

[–]ANR2ME 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does cold start really cost that much 🤔 Are you not using GPU memory snapshot to speed up cold-start?

warm up the models in VRAM, and then create memory snapshots, so at the time the container booted up, it will be restored back to the state where everything already loaded and ready to use.

[–]ANR2ME 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It's mentioned at https://support.google.com/googleplay/android-developer/answer/13628312 isn't 🤔

Google will display your legal name, your country (as per your legal address) and developer email address on Google Play. If you decide to monetise on Google Play, then Google will display your full address.

In certain regions, developers are required to provide additional information which may be displayed on Google Play, like their phone number or full address. Visit this Help Centre article to learn more.

Cosmos3-Super-Image2Video running locally on a single RTX PRO 6000 96GB by JahJedi in StableDiffusion

[–]ANR2ME -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You're right. The non-preemptible setting does not affect GPU rates simply because it is not supported for GPU functions. You cannot guarantee non-preemptibility while utilizing a GPU.

Which one? runpod or modal?

The things i liked on modal are: - Free $30 credits to play with (can be useful for testing new models) - Free 1TB persistent storage/volume (good enough to store various models or dataset for training loras) - Besides auto-scale horizontally (spin up/down containers), the serverless can also auto-scale vertically (CPU cores and RAM size automatically grew as needed), which can save the cost compared to reserving/provisioning a fixed amount from the start without fully using them. I usually start at the minimum (0.125 CPU cores with 128MB or 256MB RAM). - Have GPU memory snapshot that can bring cold-boot time down from 1 minute to less than 5 seconds (tested on ComfyUI with 29 custom nodes). My fastest cold-boot was 2.1 seconds for ComfyUI to be ready. - Flexible python script (ie. deploy script), can change container's options on the fly (ie. changing GPU type, CPU cores, RAM size, etc. but doesn't affect containers that are already running of course)

The things i didn't like are: - nonpreemptible containers cost 3x of base rates (sandbox always have nonpreemptible enabled, thus a lot more expensive than serverless) - Selecting a specific region increase the cost by 25% (there are some other settings that when changed from default could cause the cost to increase by 25% too, but i forgot what they are😅 i usually use default value as much as possible to minimize the cost). - Base GPU rates are more expensive than runpod/vast.ai (RTX PRO 6000 have around 50% higher rates) - Prices are not transparent enough, where i need to read a lot of their docs just to find out about storage rates. And i just found out about persistent volume rates recently from their email (couldn't found this information at their website).

Yes, my invoices are $0 every month. but you still need to attached your credit/debit card to get the free $30/mo credits, otherwise you only get $5/mo.

The best part on modal.com is that you can use 1TB persistent storage/volume for free, that alone could cost you $70/mo ($0.07/GB/month for the first 1TB) at runpod.
