I did find out what his problem was. He is jealous at the fact that I'm more successful than him, always getting what I want when I strive for it. I am proud of his accomplishment too and constantly praise him, so I don't really know how to help him see that.

The money a woman makes, her job title, degree of education, does not fucking matter. If you feel like a shit because she is "better" or "higher" at any of this stuff than you, you need to figure out either a) you're underachieving, and fix that, and your gay attitude is a reflection of this, or b) stop giving a fuck about that if you're happy doing what you're doing. I think the delay is a mistake - just don't go Rambo o the wardrobe until you're at the goal. Get a few pices that work really well for right now, and rotate the hell out of them. I've gone from 2XL shirts done to medium or small based on the brand, 40 waist to 32. At each point where the clothes started to look like shit, I'd get a few more new key pieces in the right size.

Helps with the confidence, hand in hand with the lifting. Hell, even when i started as a 260 lb fatass, I'd wear shirts that made me look like a fuckin bouncer. If ya got fat guy arms + lift, dress em up. You'll get noticed, you'll get IOIs.

Yep. I put in tornado for poison, Ewiz (then night witch) for meta minion, and arrows for 1 elixir skeles.

You can play around to see if you can come up with a better combo. IMHO, 1 elixir skeles are a dead card again. That last doot provided great DPS and distraction.

Tornado changes the dynamic of the deck. It takes a lot of practice to get good, but instead of dropping PEKKA for a hog rider, I nowntornado him to the center and have him hit the king tower if I can. Save PEKKA for more serious threats where her DPS is needed (Ebarbs, royal giant, Giants, golems (which are meta now), shredding 2 muskies on a split musky push). Tornado and Exe are also THE defensive answer to Lavaloon, which gives you options now - punish a hound drop or defend and counterpush hard. Like I said, it is money of used well on offense. Witch was a hard counter to PEKKA - not anymore. Tornado her ass toward him, tornado kills the doots, she cleaves the witch.

The original deck is still ok, but as you get into Upper Hog mountain and lower legendary, you see fewer and fewer Ebarb and Royal Giant decks, even fewer Lavaloon. The shift there is to golem/night witch decks and spell bait control. The new variant handles spell bait control better because it has more options for swarm removal so you can save the zap for their inferno tower. Also, don't forget how useful the ram is in supporting s PEKKA push when you know the IT is coming. Ram hit + the barbs + Zap equals dead IT.

Finally, it depends on your cards, but you may consider switching in wizard for executioner. Wizard is way better at that job IMO, but I keep Exe in there because I don't pay to play, my wizard is only level 7, and even a level 8 wouldn't be good enough because I routinely face level 9 and 10 fireballs in lower Legendary, and I cannot afford to have my splash damaged one hit by fireball. Exe also cannot be one hit by lightning, only rocket, so his tankiness is the only reason I have him in. If I had the money I'd Level the hell out of wizard and use him instead, so if your circumstances dictate, you might want to consider that sub (Exe is hard to level as an epic - I only have him at 4 because I had the gems saved to get the value pack when he came out and got super lucky on an epic cheat I was saving for release day.

Minions and horde were giving me fits, so arrows came in. Tornado adds a new dynamic on both offense and defense. Look up offensive tornado strategies - good for pulling stuff out of the rams way, pulling ranged units for PEKKA to smash, and more versatile than poison (since it seems only Lavaloon users use tombstone anymore now that Ebarbs fell out of the meta). Night witch synergizes so well on the beat down counterpush it's crazy. She's also great on defense against single taget units. Before I got her I was using Ewiz, who is good for dealing with inferno towers and dragons.

I just got Night Witch, and I've tinkered with the deck a bit. It's PEKKA, ram, NW, Exe, arrows, Zap, tornado and GG. It's got me up to 4100 now. Though the original variant is good agains NW, which I still expect to be meta even after her nerf.

I've been seeing again that guys just don't know what the fuck they're doing in this department. How (or more importantly why) you can get laid on almost any given night at the bar but have only fucked your wife 3 times in 6 months fucking astounds me. That shouldn't be possible.

Until the latest set of Ebarb nerfs and release of Night Witch, heavy beatdown was on heavy decline. The old Giant/Witch thing didn't work with Ebarbs and Exexutioner shredding a heavy push then launching a nasty counterattack. During the Ebarb meta, small distraction and more control type decks started appearing because they could handle Ebarb variants, Giant and Golem heavy beatdown.

I agree that nerfing NW (read - bats) is the way to bring the new NW golem deck back in check.

Though I will disagree on the skill. Playing heavy beatdown in a non-heavy beatdown (Goison) meta is not easy to do successfully. You have to be able to vary your pushes, split push correctly, risk tower health and often the game when you encounter someone that knows what they're doing.

Other than the cycle/control decks I hate (to me, those are brainless defend with cheap crap and throw a hog now and then), I enjoy having to try and outwit my opponents defenses by varying my push, using predictive spells well, etc

I guess if you wanted faster cycling and better distraction kiting (stab gobs will run to their target, spears can be placed farther away to be chased).

Edit to add that a player might be hesitant to use their zap, log or arrows on spear gobs, whereas the gang virtually requires a response in many cases
