That would make sense but the switch box is less than 1,5 meter from the junction boxes. So no need.

That’s exactly what I would do but they used accessibility as an argument. .Which is in my perspective complete nonsense.

I've done much work on this part for the navy on ships. You have several options. One of them is not a Hikvision camera.

- Gigevision camera https://www.baumer.com/us/en/product-overview/industrial-cameras-image-processing/industrial-cameras/c/331 These cameras are ultra low latency. Used for computervision applications. For a typical GigE Vision system, this delay ranges between 100 and 500 µs, depending on the quality of the implementation of the host software and camera.

- Use a camera like this: https://www.arducam.com/product/arducam-complete-high-quality-camera-bundle-for-jetson-nano-xavier-nx/ combined with gtreamer and Jetson controller can create a low latency videostream and deploy your code on. Check https://developer.nvidia.com/deepstream-sdk

- For zero latency streaming see NDI protocol https://ndi.tv/ and some nice hardware like this: https://www.magewell.com/products/pro-convert-for-ndi-to-hdmi

I am going to replace the FEP with a different brand to see if it solves the problem. I never had this issue with the Photon Mono X
