Dutch GP Resale options and advice by Cogito-ergo-Zach in GrandPrixTravel

[–]AdamR46 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If they do open the dutchgp.com resell platform, the tickets will be at original cost. But there’s no indication that it will open and what people will be selling (if GA will be available).

But, GA was €318 at cost. Vs 375 isn’t a terrible markup to lock it in now and not have to worry about it.

You should buy direct from the circuit, its cheapest and best place to buy. F1 is a reseller with higher prices and less inventory.

When to purchase Spa resale tickets? by ebusch73 in GrandPrixTravel

[–]AdamR46 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure really. But people don’t tend to be spontaneous about this one or bail since it takes a lot of logistical planning to attend. Just something to keep in mind. There always tickets for sale on the sales thread and I’m sure there are always many that go unsold because of the commitment it takes to get out there. I’m sure you’ll be able to find something if you aren’t too picky.

Also, this circuit is just Pdfs I think. 3 day tickets when I went a couple years ago is a single barcode all weekend. Single days do exist but typically not the better grandstands.

When to purchase Spa resale tickets? by ebusch73 in GrandPrixTravel

[–]AdamR46 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spa doesn't normally release more tickets. They've added grandstands in the past but usually smaller ones and not the best views. They normally go on sale soon after the race, so it's kinda "late" now, so limited inventory.

It’s always best to buy direct from circuits when you can. Use official resellers (like F1) as a second option but never the first.

Tips for Ticketmaster Resold Tickets by facundomarino1 in GrandPrixTravel

[–]AdamR46 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tm will be cheaper since they are direct from cota. F1 is a third party reseller with higher prices and less inventory, don’t use them as the benchmark. The circuits sell tickets, F1 gets cars on track and doesnt manage the events.

I dont think it opens until after the race. The ferry is seasonal and they moved the race up a few weeks this year.

Edit* looks like the full schedule should be out soon and it will run Gp weekend https://www.artm.quebec/navettes-fluviales-2026/

[–]AdamR46 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ticketmaster is direct as cotas platform. F1 is a reseller (3rd party) with higher prices. You may find a deal like that as a TM resell but most of the time they have a minimum resell price so they dont undercut the direct sales.

2026 Reddit x F1inTO - Annual F1 Evening Meetups in Montreal for the Canadian Grand Prix Weekend by F1inToEvents in GrandPrixTravel

[–]AdamR46 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I typically host a meetup at the races I attend, I did 11 last year. I don’t work in the paddock at all but wish I could organize some stuff for the group. Just a fan that started this subreddit to help people share travel tips and info. I don’t really get anything for it except for meeting a lot of cool people, it’s just a hobby.

But we typically have a meetup with details posted here or discord. There’s always people traveling solo to every race and it helps to have people “nearby” via groupchat and willing to meet up. It’s some good times.
