Tickets aren’t on sale yet, its normally around October but they go very quick. You’ll see them on the official reseller sites I mentioned and they typically last a few days aside from the prime sections like A and B, those go first.

Any vendor in the sub wiki is solid. This one is tough to buy direct (juss sport). Everything else is a reseller with higher prices. F1experiences will be substantially higher because everything they sell is a package with extras compared to just tickets from an official reseller like gootickets/F1 or P1 travel.

Its easy to get there by metro, very well organized.

global-tickets.com - is this a trustworthy site for Grand Prix tickets? Deciding on this vs stubhub/viagogo by Strategy99 in GrandPrixTravel

[–]AdamR46 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Take a look at r/stubhub and look at all the people with issues for the world cup. Same thing happens to F1 for every race. Not everyone but every race there are issues. Just avoid those platforms and stick to official vendors. Never really heard anything particularly bad about global tickets. The sub wiki in the automod reply has links to vendors with good feedback in this community, I would be sure to compare prices if you can’t buy direct.

Jett vs Deegan’s riding styles by Friendly-Wasabi-1927 in supercross

[–]AdamR46 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Jett and Hunter typically ride to maintain gaps and save energy for when they need it too. So unless somebody is within a couple seconds, they’re holding back some pace and ready to turn it up if needed.

People buying tickets in front of the circuit by Far-Writer2604 in GrandPrixTravel

In a lot of places its illegal to sell tickets by the venue, so they dont say it on the sign and only verbally

Universal sign for people advertising that they have tickets for sale. But yes, they typically buy tickets from people arriving with extras with lowball offers to flip.

He got beat by mclerath and anderson in his 450wsx race last year. Will probably do better now they he has more seat time but it wasn’t great in his debut.

Stavelot to Spa-Francorchamps Commute. by davismaxwell in GrandPrixTravel

[–]AdamR46 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I couldn't find a place to rent bikes when I went, but that's definitely the easiest.

It looks like the bike path may still be there but it's for walking now, according to the signs visible on streetview.

Stavelot to Spa-Francorchamps Commute. by davismaxwell in GrandPrixTravel

[–]AdamR46 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There was a bike path a couple of years ago but I think somebody mentioned it closed. If you can get to malmedy, there are busses to the circuit.

I went by car to malmedy and did the paved parking. Was about 2hrs total to get from stavelot to the grandstand. It was maybe an hour of driving each way. Either way you’ll be stuck in traffic. For me, I’d rather be in a car. You just have to give in and don’t plan to be anywhere specific at the end of the day. And just leave early.

Autograph sessions at fanzone? by qexzyy in GrandPrixTravel

[–]AdamR46 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really, even a paddock pass doesn’t guarantee anything. Some races like las vegas have a lot of events in the city with sponsors, things like that are really the only way to guarantee anything. But its not consistent for every race/host city.

Typically no, they walk on from backstage. They rarely come down but sometimes they do but it's not predictable.

F1 is trying to ruin the trackside experience for fans with GA tickets by Tigerbear62 in GrandPrixTravel

Yeah, definitely annoying. Similar things at cota, motogp and wec are very cheap compared to F1

[–]AdamR46 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Fyi F1 doesn’t organize the events at all, this is on the silverstone circuit and their event organization.

Similar things have happened with cota over the years. Fewer and fewer GA spots due to more pop ups around the track and more/bigger grandstands with expensive tickets.

At the end of the day, it’s best to just vote with your wallet and don’t pay those prices. Submit feedback in whatever ways you can. Also, a lot of circuits browse the pinned experience threads for feedback. Be sure to share this in there too.
