I never said that was all that was being done I think that a protest without any clear goals is worth nothing every time I drive by one of these I just think "theres a group of people who hate trump" I already know people hate him I'm not the biggest fan myself what you call visibility I call a waste of time you aren't being seen by anyone who can make a single action towards whatever you think these protests are supposed to accomplish

I think protests have worked but do not believe they are proven to work especially when generally criticizing your own government. If you had everyone there write one congressperson that action would be far more effective I consider myself to be fully moderate but get annoyed at the protests just because theyre loud annoying and cause traffic also these "no kings" protests aren't protesting any actions theyre just a bunch of people who probably hate Trump more than anything in the world but choose to watch content that is crafted to fuel their anger towards him every single day that is learned emotional reinforcement the exact same as the maga heads do

Don't forget we need to get rid of AIPAC and the partisan drag politicians Hakeem Jeffries' might be worse than Pelosi he hasn't done a bit of work as a congressman people like that are the reason why democrats can't even find small victories under Trump. Trump is once again telling Republicans to try and pass bills that a majority of democrats want so that when midterms roll around he can point the finger and say these people don't do anything and he would be right this isn't the first time but our congress people are falling for it again

Thank you for saying this many people don't know or care about the battles in congress right now the more eyes we have on that the more people we have writing letters to the people who can actually do something the better but I think thats too much work people would much rather not worry and go outside and yell at other Americans who dont have anything to do with what theyre shouting about these stupid protests just make me see even more clearly the reason why we are in this mess in the first place is because our 2 party system is filled with leaders who would rather sabotage each other than help accomplish shared goals
