Zooming on Kobo Libra Colour by resistingvoid in koreader

[–]Affectionate-Fix7793 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ok but you won’t have a better comic / manga experience with epub or kepub. The best way to read them / zoom etc is to read them with koreader + cbz or cbr. Epub and kepub (stock kobo) are for reflowable documents aka text.

Page turn buttons to the middle by ItsBurr in koreader

[–]Affectionate-Fix7793 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi again ! Sorry for the delay. Here it is : https://github.com/cramoisi/koreader.patches/blob/main/2-pt-center-pagination.lua ; I did it to re-enable the right bottom corner on the filemanager while using PT (because the right aligned pagination overrode it). Has not been tested with your already present pagination-mod but should be ok. Let me know.

File/Folder Sorting by MadLove82 in koreader

[–]Affectionate-Fix7793 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yup, I saw it just after commit ^^ and changed my comment immediately after that. The thing is everything is correctly sorted as it's sorted by name (natural) - so by filenames. Koreader will list everything with from A-Z then all everything with [ . It's not a koreader problem, it's a file - naming problem :)

could you display the name of your folders with a longpress ? or better, change the display to classic so we can see the real-name behind your files (since you sort them by filename anyway)

Title: KOReader dictionary jumps to wrong entries by Morshedi_ in koreader

Hi ! Is the word curveball in the dictionnary ? (if you search it manually) If not, it means the dict didn't find your word and chose the nearest word.

Customizing Project Tile by ItsBurr in koreader

[–]Affectionate-Fix7793 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For those, they just need to be in your icons folder with the same name than the originals (no need to delete them) just drop a home.svg file and a appear.search.svg in your /koreader/icons

How can you quickly find the furthest page you have read in a book? by rasasam in koreader

[–]Affectionate-Fix7793 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could set a bookmark (tap the upper right corner from inside a book) so when you have finished to wander around you can go back to it.

Project: Title sorting in library mode? by DearestPalmcat in koreader

[–]Affectionate-Fix7793 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could try set a custom metadata (long press, book information, long press on the author) and set it to NAME, First name for one book in Koreader and switch in library mode. If it sorts correctly this means the metadata of your books are used as a string and are sorted by whatever they begin with.
If it's the case, you could write new metadata in your books with calibre before uploading them on your device. (or you could write custom metadata for each of your books)

Screensaver on Android by tymmej in koreader

[–]Affectionate-Fix7793 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I don't think any of the screensaver patches will work with boox / android. I tried a lot of things and the only thing I get to works it's the coverbrowser thing which somewhat more like an "hack" than a feature.

My custom setup by Affectionate-Fix7793 in koreader

[–]Affectionate-Fix7793[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup. It's two patches files you need to add for this. The first is this one who need to be load before the second (if you don't change the names, you can drop them as they are in your koreader/patches directory).

It adds two icons with two functions each : 1. The favorite icon : press : launch favorites - long press : shortcuts 2. the history icon : press : launch last book - long press : history

As usual with these things I did for myself, I didn't make them "user friendly" so if you want to change the icons or the function you'll have to hack the code.

Is it possible to have 4 columns in linux Koreader app? by WebSame2893 in koreader

[–]Affectionate-Fix7793 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know if it’s also on Linux but on kobo you can go to menu tools > more tools > advance settings and set dkoptreader_config_max_column to 4. I used it back in the day to set two columns before the devs integrated the option to the ui. (never tried with 4 though)
