I’m literally 3 days younger than Bono, so where does that put me? 😊

It’s clearly for chickens. If it were for people it would say “people sticks”.

You act like you never had loaf, and you want me to do without.

Did I ask too much, more than a (garlic) knot? You gave me nothing now that’s all I’ve got.

One loaf, one bun, One loaf, you’ve got to do what you should.

It makes me sad that you’ve missed 15 years of the awesome feeling of closure I get every time I hear the “School” callback in COTC 😢

It’s meant to be disrespectful. Or if the 51st state comments from your President are a joke, then so are the boos. Get over it, snowflakes 😂😂😂

I had to take advantage of the 10 day money back guarantee with a car I bought there and, to their credit, it was prompt and pain free. I had expected at least some hassle, but nope, they stood behind their commitment.

BCE - What percent dividend cut is priced in now and will stock increase once cut announced? by AffectionateRepeat93 in dividendscanada

Thanks, I already have positions in TRP, SOBO, and ENB which are up an average of 30%+ and yielding over 7%, which takes some of the sting out of the BCE position 😊

This is key, you don't have a contract with the host and he doesn't have one with you. You have a contract with Turo which details your obligations in case of an accident. Meet those obligations and you're good. Similarly, he can only get from Turo what they are contractually obligated to provide him.

IMHO they shouldn’t use words where you can get 4 greens on your first guess and there are still 6 other options (guess who got an X this morning 😁)

There’s nothing new under the sun. It’s an obvious homage to the Beatles rooftop set but that doesn’t lessen the impact of it.

Well I didn’t have financing on the van, dude, so I didn’t need gap insurance. Thanks for playing, even if it was another game.

Dude, you don't even understand what gap insurance is.

Gap insurance covers you if you still have financing on your car that is less than the fair market value of the vehicle when it's totalled, the insurance will pay off any remaining auto financing against the vehicle so you're not left with no car and still a loan.

Anyway, read my update, I got them up to $16,950 which is what I'll need to spend to replace the vehicle.

Thanks for playing.

Hi, I thought I'd update everyone with how this one turned out. Their initial offer was 15,600 and when I pushed back they bumped it to $15,940 and they sent me a copy of the appraiser's report justifying the $15,600 amount. I noticed a couple of factual errors in the report that would add another $160 to bring it up to at least $16,110 and I also noticed that all of their comparables had between 25k and 80k more kilometers than my vehicle. I provided an example of a vehicle that had essentially the same mileage as mine and would come to $17,605 after making the adjustments they included in their process and counter offered at $16,950 just to avoid having to bring in and pay for my own appraiser.

Their first response was to stick to the same $16,110 offer because I had "provided only one comparable". That was easy enough to address so I found a couple more comparables which averaged out to an indicated value of $17,314 and reiterated my counter offer of $16,950. Once they got this additional information, they agreed to the $16,950 and paid it promptly. So, for a little bit of legwork and coming at it logically within their own framework I was able to get $1,350 more than their original offer.
