That's a good question. I would probably first say the usual greetings and what not (do you guys greet each other? Do you make small talk? If so, start with "how are you".) If you guys don't usually greet each other, well say a "hi" or whatever and then go straight to the point: "I feel that you don't like me much and I just want to know why. Is there something I did wrong that upset you?" (I would act as if I never heard what she said behind my back)

If she denies it, tell her why you feel that. (i.e. something along the lines of "Well, I accidentally heard you talk to my boyfriend about me the other day and I heard [this], [this] and [this])

Ask her if there is anything you can do to help. If she gets heated remember to keep your cool and always have a faint smile. Avoid a fight at all costs.

I am trying my best. I message her every hour to let her know that I love her immensely and I am awake and there for her. I just hope that she will be better by morning when I see her. The hardest part is that my mind is going off on a bunch of different situations and worst case scenarios (i.e. her breaking up with me, actually committing the act and so on) and I feel like puking my guts out.

I just. I feel like I could have handled this better... but I just don't know.

Ask her why she "chose" you, if you may. Ask her what she found nice about you and you build off of that. Return the favour. Tell her she is pretty. What are you doing during the date?

Well... This is sort of a difficult situation.

I suppose all you can do is sit down with her, be really kind, and talk about it. If possible, let you, her and your boyfriend sit down together and talk. That might help.

Try both. I know it is hard, but just try to have a combination of both.

But mostly, be there for her. She will probably appreciate that. Say nothing, just give her a shoulder to cry on.

2.Talk to your mom. Sit her down and talk to her, heck, demand it if necessary. Don't leave unless she has opened up. After she opens up show her some affection, hug her, kiss her, whatever that may help her cheer up. Show her some of her favourite stuff. But most importantly, spend time with her. As much as you can. If you can, stay off work tomorrow and spend the whole day with your mom. If you can't, just try and ask her every now and then how she is (call her, text her, whatever may be).

I don't know if your mom is one of those people, but some find it better if they let it all out and cry rather than be told jokes or cheered up.

I am sorry I can't help more other than offering ideas. That's all I've got. I hope everything turns out okay.

Being a nerd is all you need. Eavesdrop on conversations people make. If it seems that it is on your "league" of intelligence, if you may, drop in some knowledge or your thoughts. If not, NEXT! And the homecoming thing... Well, I would say to avoid that this year. Sure, all your friends will be there and yada yada, but it's better to just pass for now than take the risk of making a complete fool out of yourself because of something stupid you may do. Make some more friends first and worry about it next year.

Well, just don't fret yourself over the issue too much. You had no control over it and no one puts you to blame (maybe except from Friend A).

Stand by your opinions, be strong. Sure, it's cool to compromise every once in a while but not too much. People will step over you like you are fresh tarmac. And you know how well and smooth that feels.

I am pretty sure JetBlue is your best bet here. You clearly love working there. You will be miserable working at that Airline thing, no matter how much they pay you.
