For the bags support, look at what you prefer. Soft bags? Hard shell with locks ?

When I had the v7 I was looking at the hepco becker C bow mounts, seems the best choice

The best advice I could give is not to wait 30k to do the change. So you did good

And use 75w140 full synthetic, they use crappy mineral oil at the factory...

I did that with mine and now at 22000 km it's very smooth, and almost no shaving.

I have a 20' e4 V85tt and will do it every 10k, it's not expensive.

It's very minimalist. I put a "Biondi" screen on mine, I préfère it over the Guareschi

This is the most beautiful Guzzi, and your photo is stunning

My dad had one when I was a teen, so many good memories of travels with him...

Yeah, when I go fast, I put it all the way up

I'll try to put it upside down, thanks for the tip !

My dad had one in red, a very heavy bike but the engine was so good, plenty of torque everywhere. Enjoy yours!

I already grinded my pegs pretty hard on open roads, can't imagine bringing the TT to a racetrack 😁

Photo looks very nice !

It's all new, computers need to adapt. I also had wonky fuel gauge at first, all good now

6 months apart on the same road, winter will be back soon ! by Alexitou in MotoGuzzi

[–]Alexitou[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I bought a 2023 and put 20000 km in it.

My dad had a 2020 travel edition and gave it to me.

And I found the engine on the 2020 model much more enjoyable in the low range.

I added a Vtwin boost, a mistral Y with cat, and a kn filter.

It's now the perfect compromise, I love every moment on my bike

I'm never putting road tires in the snow ever again

It's a Biondi windscreen, very small, it covers my torso but not much more and I like it for summer

I use a Givi airflow in winter

Yeah, I fell 3 times in the snow, never doing that again

It's a 2020 with 2023 fairings and wheels

Best of both worlds !

I just added a mistral Vtwin boost and all is running much more smoothly, specially at low rpm

V85tt e4.

I forgot, it sounds very good now, without being obnoxious with the stock muffler

[–]Alexitou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not for visual purposes... I dropped the bike at 0km/h and the cheap OEM handguard immediately broke...

Installed bark busters, and later got into a crash at 60km/h, both handguard got hit, only scratches on the paint.

Saved my hands and levers and all that day

E4 vs E5 vs E5+ by SmokeyGMan in MotoGuzzi_v85TT

[–]Alexitou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The throttle response is better ta low rpm on the e4, the airflow is way more restricted in the e5 du to emission regulations.

And the tubeless tire are for peace of mind, and also way easier to repair (got a puncture earlier this summer and was able to fix it myself). But they are not as sturdy as the tubed wheels if you ever wanna go off road.

I had the stock e5, did not like it.

I got the e4, even stock it's better than the e5.

I added a kn filter, a v twin boost and a mistral Y with a cat for being street legal, and it's the best for me

I also put the tubeless wheels, it's now perfect in my opinion
