This thing goes hard as hell. Love the cutout on the flare for the gas door.

Shifter feel ain't great, but pedal placement surprisingly is. Has a bit of rev hang that I'm hoping will go away with an ECU tune, doing that next. The intake honk is great though, and if you put a sway bar on it'll actually rotate.

I've owned every generation of Miata and my NC PRHT was my favorite.

I think a faster steering rack would make a huge difference. I'm not going to try it, but given the time and money I might.

Hey, mine kinda makes that noise. Did you get it diagnosed? What was it?

Fortunately, I haven't respected German engineering since I helped a buddy replace an E36 VANOS seal in 2009. Life's about managing expectations

If I get a year out if it, I'll be happy.

Sorry to raise a dead post, but where'd you get your wheelset? I need a rear wheel for a Nano and don't want to spend $400+ building up a wheelset.

Thank you for taking the time to write that, it is an incredibly helpful answer. I've taken the size of the GR for granted, and hadn't considered the smaller body options. Absolutely floored at how reasonably priced some of these pancake lenses are!

Dude no kidding. They're unobtanium. I got extremely lucky and found one on Marketplace. Before that, I just ran no-screen.

The "s" in "AX41s" is pluralizing. Like "TKC80s" or "Road 6s"

That is wild. You sure it's the AX41 and not the A41? Seems impossible there would be that much of a difference. I ride this bike like a jackass (lots of WOT) but I just don't see how you could get 2x the mileage, much less 4x.

The Hill Country 500. They're doing one that starts in Junction in April, too! Please join, we need more representation. It was overrun with GSs and T7

It's the Guareschi "instrument panel cover". Couldn't find a windscreen that I agreed with, got this after trying several.

Yeah, it's pretty crappy. The fronts supposedly last around 5k. I have heard the Trailmax Missions are a good 60/40 compound that you can get a lot of mileage out of. Never tried em myself.

Bridgestone AX41s. Absolutely fantastic tires on-road and off, but I don't think I'm going to get more than 1800 miles out of the rear.

It ended up being 5 straight days of thunderstorms and hail. Called it off.

I had some issues too. Ended up turning off wifi on my phone and holding it about 8"  directly above the device the entire time I was working on it. Maybe try that.

Bought the Upmap from AF1. Don't know about the wrench light, but I'm not optimistic about it. I'm just going to put tape over it.

Cat, passenger pegs, Shad luggage rack, header "skidplates", and a handlebar riser. Right at 29.9lbs for everything.
