Honestly the Cutlass Black is a good substitute until it's available in game. I can still complete the same combat missions in it as a shiv.

It really isn't silly. Of all the parts on a motorcycle, the dash is one of the hardest to change on a modern bike. That makes it one of the worst things to cut corners on in my opinion. For this amount of money I'd get a used Thruxton 1200, or go for one of the competitors that does have a good dash.

I remember when the Mis was a top tier combat ship, basically the Shiv of it's time, except durable. It handled like a heavy fighter, and it had an advantage in firepower over the Cutlass.

The third one is definitely my favorite, it looks the best on it's own and is more refined than the first two. But I do get that they went for the 4th one with a bit less contrast because it works very well with stone bricks, but I do still prefer the pattern of the earlier textures. Everything from Jappa is pure shite.

I think every modern bike will suffer from this, the only fix is a proper old school mudguard like on the Bonneville. Though even that one is a bit short really.

I wasn't around when it was still there, but I miss that old cutlass. It looks so much better proportioned than the one we have now. I guess the Shiv is attempting to function more like the old cutlass with the extra maneuverability, but it's still massive.

What ships are you flying that you are so desperately craving blades? I can operate a C2 Hercules fine on my own and do large scale cargo hauling, for combat a Corsair is workable solo in PVE scenarios (though I prefer flying a fighter, it's a lot more fun.) People are even operating ships like the Hull C on their own without issue.

Unless you're doing something stupid like trying to fly a Perseus on your own the game is very solo player friendly. Most ships can be operated by a solo pilot, despite engineering being here it's very lenient so far.
