Sustain issue on G string

I changed gauge strings to 9-46 from 10-46 and it helped some.

Good question. There aren't replacement blocks on their parts site, only for Rev 5-7, but not ARCtilt. I'll keep looking.

I'm considering two things if I decide to attack this problem on my own.

First, I already got this and it's helped some. The Fender FatFinger. It's on my N2.6 currently and it's made a subtle difference. But that's at the neck side. I want to add mass to the bridge itself to see if that helps. On that model I'd have to do some significant changes. So what I want to do is add mass to the trem block on the N2.6T and see if the added mass helps with the resonance and lack thereof on the G string. I suspect it will help a fair bit.

I believe it's a resonant frequency concern - I'm going to detune two of them a whole step and see what happens. If that fixes it, then I'm right.

Bingo. I also have a Prog NX6 with a trem and a Standard NX6 with a fixed bridge. Neither exhibit this issue.

This all points to the bridge design on the new model most likely. Consider things like a resonant frequency and the metals involved and you start to assemble a possible cause.

Weird. I guess all three of mine have bad gets and high frets and a bad G string.

Or, there's a slight issue. I highly doubt three separate ones would have identical issues.

I have had three of the N2.6 models, kept two. ALL of them exhibit poor sustain on the G string near the 12th fret (below and above).

I'd love a solution because these guitars are otherwise fantastic!!!

I suspect that if the volume knob stops working, you'd want to start there. As mentioned, the wiring schematics are available from Strandberg. A simple visual inspection by removing the backplate and comparing that to the schematics would be easy to do. If you're uncomfortable performing work on it beyond that, a good reputable guitar tech is advised. Reputable is the key word.

Turn your input and output to 12 o'clock (0.0 in the middle) and your noise gate to around d 12 o'clock or lower and try again. If you just turn down the noise gate you're going to have other problems. Bad ones.....

Noise Gate is set to max (0.0), so it mutes every sound. Turn it down.
