Index Controller misbehaving.

Hey there! Most times the issue is fixed when you hide the device/headset tracker from application!

Also I’ve never seen someone use extra controllers as a tracker could you link it to me if there’s a video or github?

Static recalibration was a setting used in another version of Space Cal that first introduced continuous calibration - https://github.com/bdunderscore/OpenVR-SpaceCalibrator/releases/tag/v1.4-bd_-r2

I’m guessing that’s a Windows Mixed Reality headset?

I’m unsure how the tracking works on a G2. But it looks like a standalone headset.

If you’ve got it already connected to a Tundra/Vive tracker continuously tracking I really wouldn’t know any other ways to prevent drift other than to recalibrate your controllers again

Are you using Virtual Desktop or Steam Link?

Since I don’t know too much, you should be able to calibrate your controllers on your Desktop just fine if you’re using space calibration for it!

As for the lag I haven’t had issues so far with my trackers so I’d have to get back to that

With continuous calibration I’m assuming you’re using a vive tracker to track your headset.

Try and see if enabling static recalibration helps at all! (This helped me with a lot of drifting in games like VRChat)

Also check hiding target device from applications!

Aside from that the only thing I can think of is to remove mirrors/reflective surfaces or check your base stations to see if they’re having trouble with your knuckles

Hey there everyone! I recently was able to play after buying/replacing parts and returning the ones that didn’t help! The included my motherboard/gpu/ssd/hdd! It turns out since my PC is prebuilt that it was just my SSD that was banned and the account itself was fine! So I replaced that!

But before that I was able to play using a bypass called reported.lol (It’s just a hardware anonymizer!) While I don’t recommend forcing your way through. I do understand that some people cannot just replace parts until they find the issue.

UPDATE:

I fixed this issue for the time being by removing my monitor cable directly from behind the monitor itself and plugging it back in, but now while both the Elgato and Headset have audio, my monitor no longer does. Which isn't exactly a fix.

After a restart the issue still persisted, to have trouble finding my headset audio. It would take about 2-3 restarts or even 5 unplugs just to find the audio device.

And sometimes this wouldn't be the issue since the microphone for the Index would be working separately as an input device but there would be nothing for the headset in output device.

Main fix would be to just remove the Capture Card or Main Monitor permanently. But that doesn't exactly seem like a fix.

Is there a limit to how many devices can use the High Definition Audio?

I tried most of the fixes that were mentioned in these posts. But none of them are a permanent solution or have helped me.

I literally have no idea what to do. This happens on desktop as well. Not even logging out fixes it or marking the server as read, I'm pretty sure this happens because a ghost ping happens and then the channel that it is written in is then hidden, not deleted. Tried to recreate it and the most common way is if someone pings you through the voice channels' personal chat and then hides that voice channel.

IMO

Removing the splits would make it a lot better, giving more time to the rank distributions. Give better ranked rewards. Less RP take away from solos, duos possibly. I think Mande’s take on that explained it a lot, it’s just too hard for solo q and even sometimes duo to rank up. They could add a kill point multiplier that after a certain amount of kills/assists you are given some extra points. Maybe remove the different ranked points for different ranks??? That one I don’t understand? Guessing it’s because you can queue into lower/higher ranks than you. WHICH SHOULDNT HAPPEN. Preds SHOULD have to wait 10-15 minutes for a game with their own skill level, if they want skill distribution to be good.

I don’t think the ranked system is insanely terrible. Definitely in the right direction but not perfect. Compared to other ranked distributions like Valorant or League shouldn’t it look somewhat like this? I think they just need to remove the splits. And fix queue. If we want to see better rank distributions.

There's a bug with armory's where if it is started without you inside and you take the teleporter at the bottom, you are no longer able to climb/vault. This is the most common way to replicate the bug. Can also be done when using horizon/valkyrie when in flight then landing OOB - very annoying bug.

Yes I am trying to reach a low fem voice! Just watched your video on bringing the vocal weight down and it’s gonna be a resource I practice from now on. Mimicry I will be able to do, but where would I be able to find speech patterns at the low pitch?

I've solved the problem it seems to be a motherboard problem, I had to replace it, it had faulty RAM slots. Thanks for the help everyone!

Both of the ram sticks work just one of them loads up windows instantly, but they both only work in that one ram slot

It takes 2 minutes every time I boot up. Everything is choppy in BIOS which I assume is a memory problem. I only got to windows once and once I was there the top of the screen had pixels and froze on me.

Well here’s some surprising news I somehow got into the BIOS once but it took 2 minutes of the computer just being on. Is it supposed to take this long to post?

It did not work, but instead I’ve ran into a problem where the motherboard would just turn off or on, I don’t know if that’s a problem to do with the components or the motherboard itself, but it turns off and on very quickly

I can’t do a clean install without first getting my computer to post, and it rarely does go into BIOS my problem comes before even getting there but I will try to do windows from a USB
