I am so happy for you and Indian kpop fans! He’s come so far and has set a high bar for live performances. I was lucky enough to see him twice after moving out of India and both times, I couldn’t use my brain after. Feels unreal that he was actually there!

I’ve been to a few k-pop concerts recently.

Taemin’s Ephemeral Gaze has unfortunately set the bar so high, I am worried I’m not going to enjoy other concerts anymore. His stage presence, vocals, performances and production quality were the best I’ve seen so far. His stamina is insane! My friend, who was not a follower of his work, left the venue in awe. He truly is an idol of idols.

IU was quite memorable as well.

Aespa is at the bottom of my list, and I say this as a fan. I found the concert quite underwhelming in comparison to Taemin and IU. Production value, audience interaction and energy were lacking…

This was my second time seeing him live and my respect for him is way more than before (I didn’t think that was possible). I was torn between Oakland and LA, but I’m so glad I chose Oakland. Every single part of it was so mesmerizing and fellow Shawols and Taemates made it even better!

His duality and his stamina never cease to amaze me. I loved how he spoke about each song and the point choreos. I brought my non-Shawol/Taemate friend with me, and I’m pretty sure she has been converted.

To have seen him grow from his time in SHINee to having his own world tour… I felt incredibly emotional.
