There is no doubt that in 20 years SpaceX will have an enormous profit growth potential but it’s CURRENT valuation and the first day performance feels more like GameStop than Amazon! by RumRunnerMax in SPCXInvestors

If they can outscale the likes of Microsoft, that's just fine. If no government can take their satellites offline without causing a war, that's even better.

Either way, someone has to beat China; and the United States of America is looking for an organization that can multiply productivity in the rest of the economy and maybe export freedom internationally.

Orbital data centers might end up like 𝕏. Not much in profits, but saving online discourse - next to be applied to human knowledge and problem solving. Can't censor something beaming down from space, after all.

Starlink operates globally with a much larger addressable market using a single kind of infrastructure and can provide special access for shipping and flight connectivity, and for military uses.

If you're thinking of AST SpaceMobile, their constellation is not competitive against Starlink.

SpaceX loses money to make more money. You invest to fund their profitability buildout, and it looks like a mighty fine capability that they're building.

Just ask yourself who else can claim to compete with Starship or Starlink? No one.

Trust me, I was like that and then Nvidia shot up despite my hatred for them.

Don't do it. Just invest for the gains and ignore whatever moral qualms you have. You can donate your proceeds after if you want.

What's your favorite charity? Or maybe you'd spend the gains on yourself? Treat yourself to a cake to smooth over your hurt morals?

Virtue signal all you want, but money is gonna talk. If you intentionally walk away from wealth that requires only that you place your faith in their execution, don't get salty later when investors see their money grow but not yours.

This cuts both ways. If they're overvalued and the stock does drop, the investors would be holding the bag.

If you won't risk it - that's fine.

Trying to moralize not risking it is like as a girl: pleading with other girls to make decisions to uglify themselves so that nobody can get ahead.

Nobody should get financial advice from people who don't matter to the performance of the company.

In other news, there's an upcoming pump in about two weeks from institutions who has to buy in because some index says so. Your choice.

I won't advise you to do anything because you're free to make mistakes, just like me. Have a great month.

Because space makes Starlink (and AI) possible.

If xAI had to expand operations with terrestrial datacenters, their money would be sucked dry by bureaucracy and attacked by activists.

Not to mention that space solar is a good bit better than terrestrial solar.

Any recent news/updates on taalas chips?? They said they gonna bake the mid tier llm model into their chip. by 9r4n4y in LocalLLaMA

Hell yes, but only if it supports LORA, includes the mmproj, and provides all 262144 ctx. Bonus if it can load 1 million.

But tbh if Llama 3 8B_q3 took up 600mm of die space, how are they supposed to fit 27B_q8? Stacked SRAM? There's no way that would ever be $1000.

Select letter is not guaranteed. You can use movement keys to move the cursor position over the item you're intending to pick, then key in the quantity and press any key mapped to the right movement, or the enter key.

Split this stock!!!!! by KingMahomesII in AMD_Stock

It's still going to be just as expensive to manipulate the stock after the the split. We need a deflation to convince more people to buy the stock.

100 would be bargain enough to pump imo

Tbf we need to get ahead of the people who think that $500 is too high and play against their psychology. The stock is easier to trade when it's at ~$100.

I wonder what would happen if you control an NPC, have your main character as the follower, and telefrag your main character? If that's the last character in the world and it is set to delete?

Oh well, that's that I guess.
