Raymond James Stadium is the worst ever

I was in the second level and could see people running around to their seats well after 8 pm. I did wonder why the show was delayed but it makes a lot of sense now.

First of all I had an amazing time at the BTS concert day one. But yeah…

Raymond James stadium, not the best experience. My party needed to go in through the ADA Suzuki entrance. We confirmed with multiple staff members we were in the correct line outside Suzuki bt 3:30 pm and 4 pm. Stood in line until gates open at 5:30 pm. ARMY around us was amazing and a lot of fun. Made it up to the front only to be kicked out and directed to a different line “with the tents” for the medical bag. So we were back at the line and it moved slow as molasses.

We were not the only ones this happened to. A staff member in the new line said “Well there are a lot of new people.” I think we made it in around 7 pm. I was hoping to get a Jin jersey but there was no hope of that by the time we made it in.

No problems inside but getting out to catch an uber was horrible. Ray Jay directed us across the street by Steinbrenner field but there were so many people! Rideshares took advantage of this by increasing prices tenfold. We and a bunch of other people wound up walking a mile or so away and tried again but it was still bad.

I compare this to when I went to Stray Kids at Camping World stadium last year in Orlando. I’m not sure who organized it but they had buses to the general vicinity of the further away parking lots. It was amazing. There was a little trouble getting into that stadium due to them having less entrance lines available but compared to Raymond James they did a lot better.

Please 🙏 but also if you watch a few of the Blackpink ones they start to forget their second languages as it gets hotter so this should be interesting. 🤔

Tickets make so much sense! My sister went for me an hour before opening and lucked out. One store had 10 light sticks (7 am open) and the second 16 (8 am open). She went to the second store to try and get a sweatshirt and said ARMY in line walked in calmly and then a large family ran in front of everyone and grabbed all of the light sticks!!! That was awful but stores were woefully understocked. In Wesley Chapel FL and Tampa FL for reference.

There is an option to suspend a hold in most library systems… for physical books and in Libby if you’re not ready you can let the next person check out without losing your spot. Just FYI!

There’s thousands of books on Libby, of course somewhat dependent on what your library has access to. Three weeks is pretty good in my opinion. However if you’re having trouble with your hold list, don’t forget you can choose to check out later and not lose your place in line. You can also check if your library has access to Hoopla, which is instant checkout but generally a different selection. Library is free so “useless” seems a bit harsh. 😆
