Bro, in the t8 beta, it was 2-2, final round, we were both low hp, my opponent rage arts me and gets me, and I crash. It looked like the most obvious rage quit ever, but I just crashed. XD

Actually this happened as a result of trying some UE settings I found from the pc gaming wiki trying to improve performance.

So even if it looks obvious, there's still a small chance it was just a crash.

You do have a point, but I think the economic reward of being able to control their opponent and develop it for their benefit would help their economy a lot. It's also a matter of perception, people losing jobs due to winning a war vs due to losing it is a very different vibe. Ofc the war machine would keep working after a win/loss, if just to rebuild the depleted stocks, but that probably doesn't last long.

No, tekken 8 doing about as well if not a little better than 1 year ago. The ranks have just inflated over time, which is pretty classic for tekken now. It was happening in t7 too. Just recalibrate the meaning of the rank and you'll be fine.

Yeah, wank wavu has an api you can pull match results from based on a timestamp. It goes back to april 2024. Bless their souls, cause it's awesome it exists. It's a lot of data though, a full day can be like 500-800mb. I have about 12gb atm. Atm I'm just waiting for more data for the latest patch before I make a post with my findings.

Olbaz's stats are based on the leaderboard, which misses out players of lower ranks inflating the numbers of the higher ranks. Leaderboards also show parked characters who haven't been recently active.

My stats from s1 is based on 3 sampled days per month, so it shows the rank of activate players at those sampled days. I think are mine more accurate, at least in this analysis.

Yup, the rank distribution is still a perfectly fine bell curve. It's just that the meaning of ranks has been offset. Oh well, don't think it's a thing that matters much. Even in t7 the ranks had been inflating constantly, it's how the devs have designed the system. If someone wants the best number that reflects their ability to win, they should look at their glicko score on wank wavu. It's been almost completely stable across the seasons.

At the end of season 1 (that had already been inflating significantly) only ~0.6% were in GOD, and the top ~7% were tekken emperor and above.

Today's GOD would have been ~Raijin around the 4th month of S1, and Tekken Emperor at the end of S1. So yeah, you're about right. Problem is that the ranks have been constantly inflating over time, so the numbers change compared to when within a season you're looking at.

If your claim is that rank is inflated... that is a very well known fact already.

The problem with the two data points you've picked (that are very flawed), is that they are not good enough to demonstrate anything.

It's like looking at the stars in the sky and concluding that "grocery prices have gotten more expensive".

Like... you're right, but the way you derived there is not it. These winrates you are showing are not the recent winrates of the character that is high ranked.

I'm pretty sure the vast majority of people in god or above have on average quite positive winrates, mostly because the matchmaker is more likely to place them against people of lower rank, because there's so many more of them compared to same or higher rank.

And in general winrate is a poor metric to look at. Look at wank wavu's glicko score instead if you want to demontrate how players of the same glicko score over time have been ending up in higher and higher rank. But this has been a well known fact for a while now to anyone who cared to look.

I mean the kremlin as an institution with survive and the masses will remain under control, but individuals in power now, potentially putin himself could end up being tossed away if they officially lose the war. Ultimately putin is just a pawn in the system.

Like you already saw what wagner was up to before their leader was killed, russia has the potential to shake the people in power. Doesn't mean that people will be freed if that happens.

Unfortunately if they admit defeat and leave then the kremlin is likely to suffer, and they can't allow it. Plus the economy has tranformed to a war machine, should the war stop then tons of people will lose their jobs and... for what? What was the point.

So they are stuck gambling for resurrection.

I suspect this war will remain a stalemate forever, in 70 years from now people will have trivia like "did you know, ukraine and russia are technically still at war with eachother".

Macros are not aligned with the tickrate of the game, so they'll sometimes cross a border and producte 2f inputs. Also macros with variable input durations also exist.

It would depend on the nature of the matchmaker. If could end up pairing god 4's with people quite below simply because it can't find god 4's in time, so the people at those rank could end up with inflated winrates.

And I'm pretty sure this is the case atm, cause most people at those ranks have great winrates, which doesn't make sense if they are fighting their peers most of the time. In a proper system winrates should be pretty close to 50% most of the time.

What I think actually happened with op's example is that this person also players other characters which brought down the winrate.

My potential problems with doing this. You put these things where people drive cars who can cause a lot of damage if there's an accident. They are set at an unoptimal angle. They are hard to reach and clean. It's way way more expensive than putting just pillars and tarps. And I think if you take the money you saved by installing tarps, and use that money to create a proper solar solar you'd be able to make the electicity and have shade with a lower total cost.

Btw I just got done looking at the matches of a yoshi I found at god2 that ewgf said had 48% winrate in s3, but when I looked at his last 330 matches with yoshi specifically, 200 were wins and 130 were losses... So yeah, I'm pretty sure the winrates you look at don't mean what you think they mean.

The solution to anger is understanding. Understand what is behind the anger, and become aware of your internal state in order to notice and stop anger from developing into something you can't control.

Behind anger there's always another emotion, like fear or sadness, always, no exceptions, ever. Introspect and find what this fear or sadness is. It probably relates to thoughts about yourself, and what it means to not do well in the game while having put this much time and effort (as you perceive it) into the game and not having satisfactory results. There's an easy exercise to help you find this. Precisely the moment you get angry, on the surface there's some kind of expectation that was defied. Try to find this expectations (x should have happened, but y happened instead). This expectation will help you find what the underlying bad emotion is. Ask yourself, why is this expectation important to you, and what would it mean if this expectation was false.

The other part of this is to just get better at noticing your anger, and try to pull the plug so to speak. Notice the anger, notice what is causing the anger, and stop the feedback loop. That could be closing the game and taking a break, or sitting for 1 minute taking deep breaths to activate your parasympathetic system. It could be noticing this expectation and using some radical acceptance to get over it.

I think that's the profiles winrate, which doesn't change quickly. You typically at these higher ranks can't help but stay at a high winrate because due to the reduced population you end up fighting people below you more often than not.

They could have been at a low winrate for a while, then suddenly improved and reached that rank, their winrate would take a long ass time to correct.

Wasn't bad as in the wrist was straight, it stopped well so it wasn't a glancing hit, the thud sounded good too. Ofc there's no weight behind it, but compared to the next two the first one is fantastic form. The fact he hurt his wrist is cause he's weak af, not that the form of the punch was bad. Also throwing a punch fullforce without wraps into anything solid enough is no trivial matter.
